Visenya
Today was the day of my wedding. After tragic event yesterday, Viserys decided to rush us into being wed.
My wedding gown is a Targaryen red dress with a dragon in the front. The last Targaryen dress I will ever wear.
"You are one of the most beautiful brides in the world." Laena walked into my room as my girls got me ready. "Thank you dear." I looked at my own reflection. I felt pity for myself, angry even.
"Princess we are to go, they are waiting." Ser Erickson announced. "Well we must not keep the guest waiting." I walked out the room with Laena trailing behind me. She entered first and I waited for my signal to enter.
"You look beautiful sister." Rhaenys commented. "Thank you." I replied. The music started to play and I took my sisters arm.
"Princess Visenya Targaryen, second of her name." Ser Harrold announced and the doors opened. Walking down the throne room I locked eyes with Josephrey. I then looked at Daemon who had a look of regret.
Getting to the altar I held hands with Vorian who had a look of love. Something I can't return.
"We are here to join Princess Visenya Targaryen of House Targaryen and Prince Vorian Dayne of House Starfall in alliance. May love conquer all. May the Dornish Sun Prince and The fearless dragon princess join as one. One heart, one mind, one soul."
I kissed his soft lips. It was not compared to Daemon, but it was nice. The room erupted in cheers and claps and I could feel someone burning gaze and when I turned around it was Daemon.
"I would like to say something." Vorian spoke up getting the attention of the people. "I've never been a man that much enjoyed flirting or chatting or indeed talking at all. But with Visenya, Princess Visenya, conversation has always been easy. Her laughter brings me joy. To meet a beautiful woman is one thing, but to meet your bestfriend and the most beautiful woman is something entirely apart. So I thank you all for being here at our wedding."
The room erupted in cheers and claps. I was shocked to hear those words coming out of his mouth. I never thought someone would feel this way for me... ever.
"Let us eat!" Viserys announced as we all sat in our seats. After the meal it was time for our dance.
After the dance was the end of the wedding, and time for the newly weds to travel back to Starfall. I was to fly in dragonback with my Husband.
"We are to miss you auntie." Rhaenyra gave me a hug. "I'm to miss you too." I looked at Leanor and Leana and opened my arms wider for them to join the hug.
"I will always miss you all. Take great care." I let go of them with tears in my eyes. "I will miss you sister." I held her hands not wanting to let go. This is my family, my home.
