Chapter 8 - Vent Crawler

Our alliance decided we would go out and look for food as we had little food rations, as we wandered around Cell Block A, we heard running and screaming from behind us, we all turned around weapons at the ready.

We turned around to see Zorg running at us with his mace in his hands, but he wasn't attacking us, he was instead screaming for help, he was just 6 feet away from us, but when he was almost 4 feet away a spear went through his heart sounding his cannon instantly.

He fell to the ground and we saw his killer, Larcus Vonstorm, and the other 4 Careers, I saw that the mace that Zorg had fallen out of his hand, rolled over to me, I grabbed it and put it on the backpack I was carrying.

"WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!? GET EM!!!!" Larcus yelled to the careers while pulling out his spear, I noticed that there were bandages around the area where Nadja had shot him.

"EVERYONE SCATTER!!!!" I yelled and we all ran in different directions because there were only 5 careers and they're 10 kids to chase after, they all split, but only going after the ones that would threats, Ragusa went after Fibrone, Copper went after Nadja, Grannita went after Lana, Murphy went after Daucus and Larcus, of course, went after me.

I ran for a while my legs were getting tired but if I stopped it meant I would die, so I kept running until I reached Cell Block D., I ran upstairs and ran into a cell and shut the large metal door managing to lock the hinge from the outside but also making sure to jam the lock making that the lock wouldn't open for awhile, I then grabbed my Cleaver and destroyed the chains to the wooden bed, I then used that to block the door, it fit perfectly and as the door opened into the cell and not outwards, it would block the door from moving.

I then started to look for an escape route and saw a vent just above me, I started hitting it with my cleaver, but it was too slow so I started hitting it with the mace hoping that the vent cover would just fall off already.

"STUPID LOCK FINALLY WORKED!!!!" Larcus yelled from outside the room, I needed to hurry as the door was getting rammed into, a few minutes later the vent cover fell, and jumped into it, as soon I entered fully into the vent I heard Larcus finally kick the door down, I crawled faster when I heard him trying to enter the vent, I crawled fast and didn't stop until I was at Cell Block H, once was there I kicked a vent cover down and jumped down into the cell, and left the room after an hour of sitting in the corner, I ran off to find my allies. 

At Midnight we all finally reunited, with just a few injuries but all still alive, we all entered Cell Block E and stayed there to hear the Fallen.
