Ultraman Alpha: Second contact arc

"Everyone, please evacuate calmly and follow this passage!"
"Hurry, this way please!"

"Greeaayayahayah!"

3 months has passed since the rampage of Narakgon, and the task reserved for TPO have increased far more than what is expected. Today, another Kaiju strikes the Yakumo City, that being the Ancient Underground Beast, Okagubila. The TPO Ground force agents assists the civilians in evacuation, and just at the right time TPO's military tanks arrived.

"Aim... Fire!"

Following the instruction coming from the leading tank, Okagubila is blasted with a barrage of missiles. Feeling irritated, Okagubila uses it's drill-like appendage on it's snout and burrows underground.

"What?!"
"Captain, we've lose Okagubila's signal! There's no telling where it might reemerge!"

Just seconds later, the ground shakes and unexpectedly a giant sinkhole appears under the tanks which swallowed them all. Then Okagubila drills up it's way to the surface and continues it's rampage.

The Ground force agents who could just watch their comrades disappear, immediately contact the HQ.

"Chief... Are you seeing what we saw?"

TPO Japan branch
Command centre

"Yeah, we all do."

Through a large monitor, Chief Hojo Haruno and the rest of the TPO agents in the Command centre watches what Okagubila just did. They could have not anticipated this outcome based on their previous encounters with the Kaiju species.

"The Kaijus are changing... They've become tougher, stronger and smarter! What could have triggered this change?!" The chief shouts in frustration.

Suddenly, a familiar beeping sound is heard all throughout the room. A sound that inhabits the Command centre everytime there's a Kaiju attack...

"Chief, familiar energy signal detected. It's The giant of light!"

"Shuwatch!"

Emerging from a spiraling tunnel of light, Ultraman Alpha rises into the scene. Taking on his battling stance, Alpha runs towards Okagubila and immediately grabs it's tail. Then, using all of it's strength Alpha lift Okagubila into the air and slams it's on to the ground. Okagubila retaliates by wriggling it's body to escape from Alpha's grasp and succeeding in doing so. Then, using the drill on it's snout it jumps high and attacks Alpha by drilling past his body, causing Alpha to gain a considerable amount of damage.

"Hwatch!"
"Gyah!"
"Hratch!"

Okagubila repeatedly attacks Alpha by utilizing it's amazing jumping power and it's powerful drill snout. Alpha begin to feel weaker, and he needs to finish this battle quick. Coming up with a quick plan, Alpha creates several Alpha Barriers and stacks them on top of each other. Then, when Okagubila jumping in for another attack, Alpha held up the stacked barriers in front of him, and is able to stop Okagubila's horn from rotating.

Alpha proceeds to grab the drill snout, and using his grip strength on the drill Alpha snaps it in half by chopping it. This hurts the Kaiju as it immediately backed out as soon as Alpha released it from his hands. Okagubila then escape through a tunnel it sluggishly made by digging with it's front flippers. Alpha no longer saw the need of conflict, and turned it's head to the sinkhole Okagubila made earlier.

Ultraman Alpha approach the sinkhole, and on one knee, he looked inside. It is deep, and almost nothing could be seen from inside. Alpha then stands up, and proceed to jump into the sinkhole. In just 5 minutes, he flies out of the sinkhole along with the now damaged tanks that fell into it. Setting them down on the ground, the silver line on Alpha's arm glow, and he proceeds to shower the unconscious TPO agents inside the tank with a healing light. Now that he has confirmed to saved everyone, Alpha looked up to the sky and flies away, leaving behind his iconic gold and black energy trails.
