An intense situation. Two teammates, two different squads, different belief, but the same goal. Two man of the Attack team, Team NEXT is putting their head against each other, irritated by the opposing side's personality and actions. They stare angrily into each other's eyes...

But how does the situation escalated into this?!

Command centre

Inside the darkness of the command centre, sitting on his chair behind the desk is an important man observing the camera footage of each member of the team undergoing their training session on the holographic monitors. There are 4 separated footage across the 4 monitors, which in turn connects to the man's holographic computer screen. He clicks on the first footage from the left row, and silently watches, gives commentation and took a few files to read.

Simulation room

Inside the simulation room, a place where a or more people who possess a Team NEXT badge can use for various reasons, usually for a training session that involves targets. For the time being, this area is currently use by two people from the Ground squad for shooting moving targets...

"Amy, behind you!"

Saved by her squadmate's alert, a member that goes by "Amy" was able to dodge the incoming attack by a holographic model of a human size Red King, who is then destroyed by a few shots shooted by Amy.

"Thanks, Heiji!"

"No problems."

She thanked her squadmate, Heiji for warning her about the approaching Red King, which he happily replies with "no problem".

As the two continues their training, the important person that is watching them opens the first file, and reads it while giving some commentation.

"First recruit, Shiroko Amy. Age 24, she is one of the only three successful candidates to pass the interview for Ground squad. Incredibly perceptive at times, she is able to give a full focus on any given task and is still able to do a different task at the same time."

He closes the first file, and reads another one.

"Second successful recruit, Onodera Heiji. Age 22, he was known for his incredible fighting skill due to growing up in a family full of martial artist. However, he instead pursue the career of scientist, making him a part of both the laboratory crew and Ground squad. Interesting."

The important person closed the file, finding both of them intriguing to say the least. He put those two files away, change the camera footage to another area and continues his activity.

NEXT Jet simulation

This particular member is quite strange, in an particular way. Sitting inside the simulation seat, she shot down several aerial Kaiju without much effort, all at a shockingly accurate aim at their confirmed weak point. She's also very silent, but from the look inside her eyes, her brain are calculating the remaining count of targets before she could proceed to the next stage.

"Calliope Amelia, the first and only recruit to successfully pass the special airborne test out of 30 initial listing. It says here that she is scouted by the higher ups."
