The news got crazier day by day.
My ex's new girlfriend kept on posting status on her Insta story, making this and that clarification that dragged her and my ex into a very bad issues. Netizens are finding clues how they were starting everything back in early 2023 when Ryu was still my boyfriend.
There were many articles written that they've been seeing each other earlier than what they claimed. Netizens also found a connection between him and her months before we broke up complete with dates and more details. Then she made a new statement, She said we broke up since Mid 2023 and they were seeing each other since then.
Who cares anyways!
Regardless, everything seemed to be out of control now, she was the one who made those statements, I did nothing, I said nothing.
I never comment or say anything about them, at all. Yet, Ryu Jun Yeol's agency is texting my manager and threatened us to make an apology upon ruining his name and upcoming projects.
Though I said nothing. Though I remained silence.
But I guess, I was at fault again.
I am always at fault anyways.
So, I wrote a letter of apology for causing this rumors to go around wildly.

"Hello, Good Afternoon everyone. This is Lee Hyeri".

That's how I started my apology letter and posted it on my Insta.
Today, again, I have to sacrifice my feelings upon a guy who left me because he was bored with me. A guy who left me with a new girl but pretended as It was my fault.
I hated everyone. I hated this world.

Jang Kiyong's POV

My new drama is about to finish filming in a month or so. This is my very first project after I got discharged from military.
I felt nervous at first, but everything went well after day 1.

It feels glad to be back from military after 1 and a half year. Many things changed, including Hyeri and Ryu Jun's relationship. They broke up last year, which was a good thing for me.
I've been keeping this feeling for her since our drama in 2021 but I didn't wanna ruin our friendship. On the other hand, she, out of the blue, refused to see me few weeks after our drama ended. I couldn't reach her and I feel frustrated, but I respected her privacy. That must had something to do with her ex, I knew how badly he could be.
But, since she is now a free single cute lady, I might ask her out for a wine date sometimes, as a good start, you know. I wont rush things with her. I'll let her recover from those pains and rumors out there.
My poor Hyeri.
I should ask her out for a date, next month after my filming ends.

That was until this afternoon.

I was scrolling on my phone when I got a text from Kyunghye
"Oppa, read Hyeri's post on Instagram. That stupid lady, I really can't with her"
I, upon reading Hyeri's name, immediately opened the App and saw that apology letter of her.

I dialled her number in a count of 3 seconds.
"The number you are calling...."
Mailbox.
Damn it. She's always went missing when she is in pain. I hate her for that. Like, talk? please!? Girl is so stubborn. If just I didn't like her that much. I let out a deep sigh.
She posted an hour ago. How come I missed it. I even put a notification alarm for her Insta post.
I mean, every time she makes a new post, I will get a notification. Why did I miss it today?
I called her other phone, Mailbox too.
Damn gurl! Where are you?
What happened?

I called Kyunghye again
"Kyunghye-ah, she might not have her phone on, It went to her mailbox"

"Damn bitch! Should we just visit her then Oppa?" she offered.

" Sure, I'll pick you up in 30mins or so, I'll get ready first" I said.

When Kyunghye rang the bell, there were no answers.
I then anxiously pressed the bells many times to bug her inside, So she'll open and It worked.
She finally opened the door after seeing Kyunghye's face on the monitor, I guess so.
She was still in her pajamas. Looked like she'd been sleeping, as she always did. It's just, She looked dreadful to me. And that hurts.

"Ya, bitch! Why didn't you turn on your phones?" Kyunghye barged in the apartment leaving Hyeri grouched behind her then pulled the the door to close it.
She was surprised when I pushed it lightly from the outside and stepped in. "Kiyong Oppa!" She shrieked and covered her mouth with both hands in disbelieve.
I closed the door behind me and stepped closer to her, then I just pulled her in my arms and said. "Do not turn off your phone like that. It scares me not being able to reach you. You terrifying me, Lady!"
I squeezed her tight and inhaled the scent of her hair that makes me relieved at that moment. She is well, at least she is ok, Kiyong! I said to myself.
"I-Ca-aaan,'t—-Br,eaaa-th, Oppa" she murmured under my hugs.

"Yaaaa! Kiyong Oppa! She is about to pass out!" Kyunghye yelled at me and I let her go.

"Ah! Mian!"
Her, Smiling bitterly while catching her breath with her face turning red like a grilled prawn cracked me up. She looked super cute, So I pulled her again into my arms, this time very lightly, rubbed her back, kissed her head and shook her left and right. She stood still. Not making any move. Just stood there like a dead tree in my arms.

"Eeeuww. You two! Stop being lovey dovey in front of me. Should you?" Kyunghye's expression got me laughed harder.
I then pushed her slowly, walking to the sofa where kyunghye was looking so mad and giving us the deadly stares, then sat her down facing the super mad kyunghye.

"I don't care Kiyong Oppa is here to back you up or whatever, just explain to me why did you post that apology letter"
"Ya! Why?" I snapped in after her words.
They both looked at me and I raised my both hands, I frowned.
I moved my sit to the floor, stayed in front of Hyeri, placing my both hands onto her laps casually while looking at them who's ready to fight. Hyeri gave me those big eyes codes as if asking why did I place my hands on her laps. I responded by grinning widely and  shrugging my shoulders, moved even closer to her laps and just rested my arms there.
I winked at her and said. "Look at her, don't look at me, speak to her, she is waiting for your explanation, don't mind me"
She inhaled her frustration and let out a deep sigh before placing her one hand behind my back, slowly making her way to the back of my hair and just ran her fingers through my hair up and down, while her one hand just rested on my arm, which were on her lap.
I moved even closer and nodded while smiling stupidly as if I'm telling her to do not stop doing it.

"Yaa! You two! I didn't come here to be a third wheeling party over you. Geez! Get a room!" Kyunghye yelled at us both.
"Shall we then?" I jokingly getting ready to stand up and grab Hyeri's hands before she hit my head softly and cover my mouth with her both hands.
"Eonnie, Eonnie, I'll explain ok? I'll explain now." Hyeri's little laugh at Kyunghye made me giggles under her smothered.

What a cute drama from the trio 🤣
