Cali's POV
"Sigurado ka bang hindi mo nakita kung sino?" I asked Ery over the phone.
"Hindi nga, paano ko makikita eh nasa banyo ako nagawa ng milagro." Narinig ko ang mahinang pagtawa nito na tila ba'y kinikilig. Halatang wala akong makukuhang sagot sa kaniya, ang sabi niya ay pagkatapos niya raw gumawa ng milagro ay wala na ako sa couch namin, she assumed I went home already she also said she feels she is in cloud nine that time.
"Sige na, mauuna na ako. May pasok pa ako, bye!" I said before hanging up the phone, I stood up to get my things and pack my bag.
It has been a few days since the accident happened, Ery does not know what happened to me while I was on the couch with that guy. The next day I woke up in a hotel room, I was fully dressed and I did not feel anything weird or any pain on my private part, also my face was clean but I knew I was wearing makeup that night. I saw a bowl, a glass of water, and some medicine but other than that there was none. I tried to ask who bought me there, but the staff said they could disclose that information to me; my hotel room was also paid for already. So, I went home that day wondering who the guy was who helped me that day, and if he was also the one who brought me to the hotel. I brushed it off and just got ready to go to school.
"Kumain kana riyan, nakapag luto na ako, mag ingat sa pag pasok." Humalik sa pisngi ko si mama, kumunot ang noo ko dahil mukhang madaling madali ito.
"Okay po, ingat din kayo." Isinabay na niya si Carion sa pag pasok, my little brother. When I saw our car drove off the garage, I went to our dining area to eat, after eating I washed the dishes before packing my lunch my class would end around 5 p.m.
"Arf!" I looked down and saw Kino; my one-year-old dog creme colored labrador. I prepared his food to feed him and gave him cold water in his bowl. Loki was not around but I still left him some cat food in his bowl and water to drink. I ensured all the appliances were unplugged before leaving the house, ibinilin ko rin kay Tita Carol sila kino.
"A penny for your thought." I looked at Savy, my classmate and a friend since junior high school and we went to the same school and ended up being classmates too, a destiny. Well, that is what she said.
"It's nothing, about school lang." I smiled at her, I have not used to opening up to people since I was a kid my mind was set on being the father of the family, because I'm the next eldest in the family. My dad left when Carion was only a baby, and while I was 12, I'm old enough to understand what is happening. Starting that day my mind was set that I must be the father of the family, I must be strong for my mom and my brother they cannot— I mean never see me as a weak woman, and I do not want them to worry about me there is a lot of things to be worried about rather than worrying on me.
"Come on now, Cali. I know you; I know that face." Savy stared at me intently, I looked away because I felt like she could read what was going on inside my mind.
"You know you can tell me anything, right?" Masuyong sabi nito at hinawakan ang kamay kong naka patong sa itaas ng mesa, I signed as a sign of defeat. I forced myself to look up at her and start to tell her what happened last week at the bar.
"Ugh," I covered my eyes to block the harsh sun rays that were hitting my face. Kinapa ko ang kama ko upang kunin and paborito kong stuff toy, I frown when I cannot find it. I slowly opened my eyes, at first it was a bit blurry but the more my vision became clear my eyes widened each second.
I sat down and looked around. "Fuck." That is the only word that came out of my mouth. I looked at myself and saw I was still fully dressed, and I also felt whether the private part of my body hurt or not, I was relieved that I had no physical pain. I stood up to find my things, I saw my phone on the bedside table, and beside it was a bowl of medicine, and bottled water, it was still sealed. I looked more around before realizing I was at a hotel.
