Cali's POV

I get up early to clean the house, I don't have a part-time job today but I'm attending school later at 8 a.m.

"Oh, you're up." I kneeled and scratched Kino's head, I went to their corner to fill his bowl with food and also changed his water. As usual, Loki wasn't around he didn't come home, his bowl still looks the same as how I left it the other night.

"Eat up, handsome," I told Kino before tying my hair in a messy bun and starting the cleaning, I started cleaning in the kitchen before proceeding to our living room. I throw unnecessary things away para konti nalang ang liligpitin namin kapag nag pasko; although October palang ngayon.

"Oh, ang aga mo naman." Halfway through cleaning the living room, I heard my mom's voice. She's carrying Carion in her arms; he's rubbing his eyes using his small hand. But I immediately got worried when I noticed she looked so... Pale.

"Are you ok, Ma? Huwag kana kaya pumasok? I will message Aerin." I said worriedly, ipinatong ko ang likod ng palad ko sa noo niya para pakiramdaman ang temperature niya. Hindi naman siya mainit, but still she looks pale; sick.

"I'm fine, anak." She smiled at me and caressed my cheek.

"Are you drinking your vitamins?" She sometimes forgets to drink dahil sa sobrang busy, and she don't like taking medicine; sa kaniya ko namana.

"Yes, Zhy. Don't worry, Mommy's fine. Hindi lang ako naka tulog ng maayos the other night." I sighed and smiled at her; still worried but I let it go.

"I already cooked breakfast," I informed her, she went to the kitchen with Carion while I continued what I was doing earlier. I haven't eaten breakfast, I just drank water. Once I'm finished cleaning the whole house, I get ready to attend school. Mom and Carion already left earlier, I and Kino were the only living thing left in the house; Loki still hadn't come home yet.

The uniform isn't mandatory yet since the school year just started, I wore beige trousers and, a white fitted tee and I partnered it with white sneakers, I put my hair in a ponytail and put a beige bow on it, I checked my things before I went downstairs to check the stove and unplugged the electronics.

"Anong ginagawa mo sa harap ng bahay ko?" Kumunot ang noo ko ng makita ko si Ez sa harap ng bahay namin, he's inside his car. His elbow rested on the car window, his hair was pushed back, he's wearing a simple long sleeves polo and wearing a sunglass.

"Hinihintay ka, ano paba? Get in, pretty." He removed his sunglasses and winked at me, I grimaced.

"Sayang wala akong barya." Sabi ko at sumakay sa sasakyan niya, as soon as I fastened my seatbelt, he started the engine and drove away.

"Connect ako ah," Ang tahimik masyado ng sasakyan niya, mag papatugtog nalang ako.
