Cali's POV

I stretch my body before I open my window to let the sun in. I looked around my room and released a heavy sigh when I saw how messy my table was, there's a few pieces of clothing that are on the table and chair. My dirty clothes weren't in the laundry basket. I got too occupied by my Mom's heart condition, she was discharged the other day which was Sunday.

I tied my hair in a messy bun before tidying my room up, after organizing and putting my things where they belonged, I carried my laundry basket to bring it to our garage to wash them.

I also told Ery that my mom won't be able to make a new design and shift to her boutique, I asked if it was ok to be my mom's proxy but she refused and told me na masyado akong mapapagod, she also said na she will still pay my mom even though she wasn't able to work.

At first, I was so against it, but Ery, being Ery, manipulated and gaslighted me to accept it as her help for my mom; she also treats her like her mom, she even calls my mom "our" Mom. I don't mind since she has been helping us a lot through these years.

"Carion, baby, wakey wakey," Malambing kong tawag kay Carion.

"Huh?" He said frowning, rubbing his eyes using his small hands; still half asleep. He wasn't used to me waking him up, my mom usually does this.

"Wake up na, get ready for school," I carefully carried him, he wrapped his arms around my neck and leaned on my shoulder, trying to get back to sleep.

"O, gising na po pala kayo," I'm halfway helping Carion to finish his meal because he takes so long baka malate pa siya sa school.

"Ako na riyan, dapat ginising mo ako," She tried to get the spoon out of my hand pero agad ko itong inilayo.

"Ako na, Ma. Maupo napo kayo riyan at uminom ng gamot, then rest," I told her before continuing feeding Carion.

"Is my baby, mad?" Malambing na tanong ni Mommy. I shook my head.

I'm not mad at her, I don't get mad at people. They only can get on my nerves and piss me off but they can't make me hate them. I'm just disappointed by the fact that she hid that kind of serious thing from me. She risks her life just for me not to worry about her illness, without thinking I would get more worried if something bad happened to her the other day, good thing Tita Carol saw her pass out and called Ez.

After feeding Carion, I bathed him and dressed him.

"Ang pogi mo naman, boss," I giggled when I saw how Carion looked. I styled his hair, put a small amount of gel, and pushed his hair back.
