Cali's POV

"Cali, bangon na." I heard a few knocks on my door, I got my phone to check on the time, today is Tuesday at 6:30 in the morning.

"Yes, Ma. Gising napo." I got up and stretched my body before opening my curtain and window to let the sunrays get in. Anong oras na ako nakatulog kakaisip sa lalaking nakita ko sa convenience store nung nakaraang araw, that damn after party accident is driving me crazy!

"Mag hilamos ka muna bago bumaba, nag luto na ako." I put my clothes back on and brush my hair using my fingertips before going to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth.

"Ate cayi!" Carion ran in my direction.

"Good morning, baby." I carried and kissed his cheek which made him giggle, he's a very giggly kid. We went to the dining area, inilagay ko si Carion sa high chair niya bago ako umupo sa upuan ko. Agad na nag sandok si mommy ng fried rice at inilagay sa plato ko, Carion already ate earlier so she just gave him some sliced apples, his favorite.

"May trabaho ka ngayon?" Mom asked while I'm eating, she's packing Carion's snacks.

"Opo, from nine to five," I answered smiling at her.

"Dapat nag papahinga ka ngayon eh, anong oras kana naka uwi kahapon. Quit your job, I am still able to provide for your needs. Hindi mo pa responsibilidad ang ganitong bagay, anak." Sadness and worry were visible in her eyes, I smiled at her and held her hand that were on the table.

"I know Ma, please let me. I know that it's not my responsibility yet, but I wanted to help you. I did this on my own will, walang sapilitan, ginusto ko ito at masaya ako. You don't have to worry for me anymore, I'm already 18 kaya ko na'to." I gave her an assurance smile. She looked away and simply wiped her tears away. After I ate, I got ready to go to my part-time job.

I was wearing a dark blue pencil skirt that ended above my knee, a white long-sleeved polo, a dark blue vest with cold lining, and my coat that had the hotel's logo, my long thick brown hair was in a clean bun. Pag baba ko ay wala na si Mommy at Carion, she probably went to work and dropped Carion to his playschool. I got my things and made sure that the stove was turned off, and the appliances were unplugged, I also left food and water for Kino and Loki. I kissed Kino goodbye and as usual, Loki was nowhere to be found.

"Nakanang, ang ganda mo naman, Miss. Did you just move here?" I turned around and saw Ez leaning against his car. He's wearing a beige short-sleeved polo, black slacks, and a designer shoe. I also noticed his Rolex watch and he's also wearing the gold necklace I gave him a long time ago; his Initials were carved into the gold plate pendant.

"Too early, leave me alone, Ez." I gave him a smug look. Alam kong kapag hindi ko agad to sinaway ay itutuloy niya ang pang aasar sa akin, baka ma-badtrip ako at madala ko pa sa trabaho. I don't want to work in a gloomy mood, it'll affect my work real big.

"Chill, hindi na. Mamaya nalang," He raised both of his hands in the air laughing. "Let's go beautiful, I'll give you a ride." He went inside to turn on the engine of his car.
