'The Old Songs' Part 2

.:Luis POV:.

I resisted the urge to just whack at that cutout with my axe, turning away from it as I head towards the closed off doorway that's blocked by a shutter. Frowning as I think about what to do.

"uh, Luis? I think we need to find some buttons or something" I got startled a bit as I had forgotten that Bendy was with me, so I looked down at him to see him pointing at a panel near the closed door. "ah, good eye Bendy" I smiled at him, chuckling as he puffed his chest out at the praise I gave him. I then pat his head as I walked by him. "let's get to finding those buttons, shall we?"

He nodded, following along as I looked around, Bendy doing the same till he yelled my name to get my attention. "I found one! Here, behind these bacon soups" I then walked over, moving the cans to see the button. "Good job Bendy, now we need to find two more"

After I found the last two buttons, since I had to walk through the ink filled hall again, I went back to the panel by the door, pulling the lever down to open the shutter door. I look back at Bendy, seeing him stand by a statue of him, his tail on the floor and curled around his feet. "something wrong Bendy?" I asked him, figuring that he's upset about something. "N-nothing, just thinking. Lets just continue through '' He replied, walking past me with a frown in his face, his tail dragging on the ground.

I stayed silent, as I'm never the one to pry but can't help wondering why Bendy is upset so suddenly. So we continued forward, coming up to a boarded doorway that I easily broke through with my axe I had gained. I then noticed I'm now in the music department. Oh how I missed this place.

"Haven't been here since I left, I still remember the days where I'd just listen to the band playing the songs for your cartoons, Bendy" I said as I walked forward, ignoring the audio log as I looked around. "Heh, those were the good ole times huh?" Bendy said, walking up behind me as I saw a doorway that led to a stairwell. "hm, yes they were my little friends" I smiled as I remembered when I was first brought here.

'I was talking to Henry as he led me to somewhere in the studio, talking about anything and everything from new animations scenarios to new characters we could pitch to Joey, till I asked him. "where are we heading exactly? you haven't told me when you said you'd show me something."

He chuckled as we walked down the hallways, getting to some stairs. "In due time my friend, we'll get there" I groaned as we got down the stairs and through the door. I then spot a sign saying The Music Department displayed on a wall. "So this is where you wanted to show me?" I asked, glancing at Henry as I looked around the place.

"Mhm, this is where the music is being made" And ever since that day I'd always visit the workers that worked there, listening to the lovely music they create'

As I came back from reminiscing about the good old days, I got startled by Bendy waving his hand near my face. "hey! I've been calling your name for hours!" He said with an upset frown, his tail lashing behind him. "o-oh , sorry Bendy, I was just remembering when I was first brought here" I rubbed my neck as I chuckled nervously, looking down at the angered little demon. "humph" He crossed his arms, turning away from me, clearly upset.

"come on Bendy, we have a job to do" I said, smiling down at him till I saw the stairs flooded with ink. "ugh, another ink flooded stairwell" I frowned, groaning at the thought of having to drain another ink flood. "let's go find a valve that'll drain this ink flood, as this might be my exit"

"w-wait! Don't you need to pull that lever first?" He Points to a lever on the wall, where I think is unnecessary but I pull it anyway, seeing the lights come on. I smile as the place is now lit up, walking off to find a draining pipe but suddenly gets jumped by an ink creature. "ah! what is that?!" I quickly backed up, holding my axe up to defend myself but the ink creature backed off for some reason, falling to the floor and disappearing. "what. the hell. happened?!"

Looking towards Bendy, I see him glaring at the spot the ink creature disappeared. "That was a searcher, but don't worry, stick with me and I'll make sure you're not hurt" He smirks towards me, as I couldn't help but think...why?

.:Bendys POV:.

Why did I protect him when he's going to die soon? Is he that special? or do I just not want to be alone again? I could never find the answers to my questions. I frowned as I looked towards the floor, trying to find why I protected him but never could. I just sighed as Luis walked off towards the door on the left that just opened, heading down the long hallway.

We then came upon an office that is blocked by some ink flowing from a busted pipe on the wall, and we all know that I can't walk through that. Luis then finds an audio log on a small shelf, wading through the ink just to play it.

'So I go to get my dust pan from the hall closet the other day and guess what? I can't find my stupid keys. It's like they disappeared into thin air or something.

All I can think of is that they must have fallen into one of the garbage cans as I was making my rounds last week.

I just hope nobody tells Sammy. Because if he finds out I lost my keys again, I'm outa here'

"welp, better start looking, huh?" Luis said, smiling down at me. I just frowned, not looking forward to going searching in garbage cans.

Though, spending time with a guy like Luis isn't all bad, right?..........
