"The ‘Trial’ of Tyler Lockwood"

It took all of 5 minutes for Klaus to finally arrive with Kai’s next victim in tow. He wasn't expecting the rest of the Original family to have brought lawn chairs and refreshments to set up so they could watch the show. Hell, even Esther was there, albeit unwillingly clinging to Finn's back.

“Why'd you bring me here?” Tyler's annoying voice rang out.

“For your Trial, mate,” Klaus smirked and stepped up to the porch, his gaze firmly on his mate. “I've brought your gift, love.”

“Sit,” Kai pointed down at the steps, his words for Klaus, but his attention solely on the handsy hybrid he was gonna take real good care of.

“Love-”

Sit,” Kai demanded.

Looking thoroughly chastised, Klaus settled down on the steps, glaring out at Kol who cackled at him from his seat on the lawn.

“Who are half of those people?” Elena inquired, half hiding behind Liz.

“They, my dear Ellen, are the whole Original family,” Kai smirked as he spotted Esther amongst them. “Hi, Easter Basket! How's it going?”

“They woke me from my nap,” the ex-witch blandly replied, her eyes still half lidded and filled with annoyance. “Get your mates to leave me alone during my nap time. It's the only escape I have from this bleak existence.”

“You're their mom, why don't you tell them that yourself?”

“They don't listen to me. They only listen to you,” Esther sneered as she cozied up in her lawn chair with her travel pillow, aiming to block out whatever the hell that damnable siphoner planned to do.

“‘Mates’? Them?” Bonnie questioned, hoping that it was maybe just the ones she didn't know and Elijah. She couldn't handle the thought of it being Klaus and/or Rebekah.

“Oh, yeah! I forgot to mention that,” Kai noted as he went about creating a notice-me-not barrier around them, along with a little something to keep the gorier bits from being seen by those more squeamish around the whole torture thing. “I have a few other mates! Finn, Kol, Elijah-” please stop there! “-Nik, Bekah, and Stefan! They all match my freak, which is pretty cool!”

If Kai felt as though Klaus ‘matched his freak', heaven forbid how clinically insane the others had to be. Don't get her wrong, she adored Kai already and wouldn't want to change a thing about him, but he could be a little… eccentric at times. She also hoped she could count on Stefan if they could ever get his humanity back on (not that they knew that it had been done for them).
