"Are you guys okay...? Aiden why are you carrying Y/N?" Dad asked
"Uhhhh she's tired." Aiden tilted his head. We got in the car and I put my head on Aiden's shoulder. We drove back to the house and went to the graveyard.
"So...you think the Phantom dimension is influencing us?" Tyler asked
"No only that but...I think it's impacting the real world as well. I saw phantoms in a building window." I groaned. Ben had stitched my back.

"What do we do?" Taylor asked
"Well, it all started when Logan got mad I got this like- gut feeling. But I also had this killing intent." I looked up
"Maybe negative energy sets it off...." Taylor suggested
"So...we need to avoid getting angry?" Logan asked
"Yeah." I laid down in the seat
"How do we do that if our entire situation is negative?" Tyler asked
"I don't know what to do anymore....we need to get to Savannah."

"That's what happened boss." I sighed
"Hm...I see. If they have energy spikes like that they'll draw unwanted attention. How unfortunate. I was wishing to lay low a while longer. I suppose we can't always get what we want. Start making preparations." He was staring at a bird
"To capture the kids?" I asked
"Yes." He nodded

"What about the teacher?" I asked
"What an idiotic question. He'll disappear too." He rolled his eyes

•A few weeks later•

"I think the cooler is ready." Mom sat down

"I'll get it." Dad walked over
"Hey Mike! We brought Mac and cheese." Jessica smiled. Dad started talking to Ben's parents and Lily. I was hanging on my bar.
"Hey girl!" Jessica walked over
"Hi Jessica!" I smiled
"How ya feeling birthday girl?" She asked
"Good." I pointed at Ashlyn
"That's my twin. The one I used to talk about on the phone with Aiden. Don't forget to tell her happy birthday." I looked over at Aiden.

"Hey." He walked over. I just smiled.
"Wanna get down?" He asked
"Yeah." I moved a bit so he could grab me. He helped me get down.
"How's your back?" He asked
"It still hurts but not that bad." I put my hand on my hip

I grabbed a bowl of candy and walked over to Lily.
"Want some?" I asked
"Yeah!" She took a sucker
"I want so-" Aiden stopped when I smacked his hand
"You don't need any candy mister hyperactive." I rolled my eyes
"Ashlyn do you think you could wait on the twins then bring them to the graveyard?" Mom asked
"Yeah." Ashlyn nodded. We all walked out to the graveyard and I sat on the hood of a bus.

After a few minutes the twins came out. The twins put gifts and food down then Taylor yelled about a bunny.
"TAYLOR!" I yelled
"Y/N!" She ran over and hugged me. Aiden went to go try and catch the bunny but Ashlyn caught it. We made up last week so we weren't completely ignoring each other anymore.

Time passed by really fast.
"Do they not realize it's almost midnight?" Tyler asked
"Guess not." I shrugged and ran my hand through Aiden's hair again. He was laying with his head in my lap.
"Let's go." Ashlyn stood
"Ben can I see Lily for a minute?" I asked. Ben nodded and she ran over.
"What did you wanna tell me?" I asked
"Well one, happy birthday! And two, Aiden wouldn't shut up about." She poked my forehead
"Oh really?" I smiled
"Yeah!" She smiled as I handed her to her mom
"We're gonna go get something so we'll be right back." I smiled.

I walked into the bus

Forgot to mention THIS is your 16th birthday. You were 15 before this. I messed up the ages in the beginning of da book. So since I didn't think of that I feel dumb 😭
