I looked up at the tree we had just crashed into. "OUT OF THE CAR NOW!" I yelled and jumped out. Everyone else did too. "Get back. Better yet, run." I started running in the direction I saw Tyler fall.
BOOM
The car exploded.
We looked everywhere but we couldn't find him. "Hey...Taylor it's okay." I opened the door to a small store. She sat down and leaned on Ben's shoulder.
Shift
We all stood up and I stared at Tyler. Please wake up come on! "TYLER!!" Taylor screamed while shaking him "WAKE UP WAKE UP!" Taylor yelled "WHAT DO WE DO!?" She started crying "MOM!" "TAYLOR!"
Dad ran in and lifted him up "Hey! What are you doing with my son!?" Taylor's mom asked "He needs to get to the hospital!" Dad yelled. His eyes were almost fully black.

I jumped out of the car and followed my parents as inside. They took Tyler back and I sat on a bench. Aiden sat. Beside me and everyone else sat. It was silent.
I kept tapping my foot and looking at Taylor. "Y/N." Aiden whispered. I looked at him. He ran his hand overtop of mine "You did the best you could." He looked down at our hands "Please...stop beating yourself up over it." He looked up at me. I just stared at him before I started shaking. His eyes widened and he pulled me into a hug while slipping his hand into mine. I cried into his chest.
"Hey troop." My dad walked up and rubbed my back. Aiden looked up at him and I did too. "Wanna...take a walk?" Dad asked "Mhm." I nodded and let go of Aiden's hand. He smiled at me as I stood up then looked down at his hand and stopped smiling. I watched him as I walked out the doors. He held his hand to his chest then pulled his legs up.
"So, what happened?" Dad asked "We told you in the car...we went to get Tyler's guitar then he just...collapsed." I looked at the sidewalk "Y/N. I mean what really happened." Dad looked at me
