A/N Hello everyone and welcome back to another chapter of Future Warrior: Deku! I hope you all haven't been waiting for too long on this chapter to come out! I wanted to inform you all that there will be some stories that I will be looking back through and fixing paragraphs to make them easier to read. So without further ado, let's begin the chapter!
It had been a few weeks since the USJ incident, and Classes 1-A and 1-B were taking part in the Sports Festival. Izuku had been preparing himself for taking on an intern within his Agency for a long while. For the past few years of his Pro Hero Career, he had been pretty busy in terms of keeping himself afloat for the last several years. He focused his efforts on keeping the people within the city he shared with the Pro Hero duo Water Hose completely safe. He moved across Japan in the daytime so that he could make sure that everyone was doing their jobs correctly. And he couldn't wait to see who could be very strong this year out of the First Year Hero Courses.
He and Ryukyu had recently made their relationship announcement to the world and the media took to it like a fish to water. They had been at his Agency within Mien Town, and it was undergoing construction. He couldn't wait until he had gotten a Hero to stay with the Water Hose duo to keep them safe from future attacks. He was moving through the streets, when he came across Ingenium who was making his wounds in Hosu, which was where Izuku was located.
"Hey Shadow! How are you doing?" Ingenium asked. "I'm doing fine, just making a name for myself away from All Might's Influence." Izuku said, as he chuckled. "Well far be it from me to send you away and out of my territory! Haha! How is your daughter and Ryukyu doing?" He asked. "They're fine, Isha is in her elementary years now. Ryuko is doing fine, she's already in the top ten though." Izuku said, with a chuckle. "Well you just have a very strong woman, and I think only a strong woman could take care of you." Ingenium said, with a teasing smirk inside his armor. "Yeah, yeah... lay it on me, what are you doing in downtown Hosu? Shouldn't you be in the Northern quadrant?" Izuku asked, concerned. "Yeah, but I recently took on a new case." Ingenium stated as he stretched his limbs. "Who would that be?" He asked. "The Hero Killer: Stain." Ingenium replied before rushing off.
"Hero Killer Stain... that's a name I've never heard for a decade." Izuku muttered to himself before rushing towards Mien Town.

Izuku bounced from building to building as he found his Agency, it was in its final stages of being built. And he could only smile in happiness as he watched the finishing touches on the outside be completed. Looking down to Mr. Uraraka who was taking charge of the situation, Izuku leaped down to the ground landing behind the man. Said man immediately turned around and let out a sigh of relief as Izuku chuckled at the man and his immediate reaction time.
"If I was anyone else, I would've thought you'd be punching me right now." Izuku said, with a chuckle. "If you weren't the one I was building this place for, I probably would have. So what's going on?" Uraraka asked. "I just got back from a small patrol in Hosu, how long until the building is finished, Mr. Uraraka?" Izuku asked. "It should be done within the next hour; the inside will need to be done by you." He stated as he tipped his construction hat at him. "Here's a tip for your efforts." Izuku said, writing a check of over the amount he was supposed to pay. "I-I can't take all this money!" Uraraka-kun stated, shocked. "Don't worry, I have more than enough money to take care of my own family. Having an Agency within Mien Town is something that I have been preparing for the last few years. I may be the Number 32 Hero, but that doesn't mean that I am not paid enough for my job." Izuku said, as Uraraka nodded. "I will see you later, gonna head home and watch the Sports Festival." Izuku said, as Uraraka nodded at him. "I will send you a message about whether or not your building is done in about a couple hours." Uraraka said, as Izuku flew away.
By the time Izuku arrived at his home, the Sports Festival was already under way. He had tuned in at the time where it was the Tournament. He watched as the students fought one another, multiple of them having quirks that were excellent for Hero Work. But there was one he kept a close eye on, the student with a quirk that could brainwash them into doing whatever he wanted them to do. He knew the boy wasn't in the Heroics Course, but that didn't mean that he couldn't get the boy to intern with him at some point in the future.
He looked over the Heroics Classes and found a couple of students that he would ask to join his Agency. Those being the students with quirks that centered around reconnaissance and information gathering. With them under his belt and learning how to become better Heroes, he would make sure that they know everything about their quirks and get them strong enough to combat villains should they come across them again in the future. But then came his alternate dimension self as he used Telekinesis to fight his opponents and beat them with minimal effort. But Izuku knew that this wasn't minimal effort, it was how he acted.
He then pulled up a phone so that he could call the Agency he was currently using in Tokyo. As soon as he heard the ringing, he overheard Ryuko entering the house through the front door. Once the person on the other side of the phone answered, Izuku watched as the top three students of the First Years were placed on a podium. The Bakugo kid was looking like an angry animal, Todoroki was impassive as ever, and Tokoyami was looking particularly unperturbed.
"This is All Might Agency, who is this?" The receptionist asked. "This is Pro Hero: Shadow. And I would like you to send UA a couple of Intern requests." Izuku said, as the woman's voice hummed. "Alright, can you tell me who you wish to have as intern's sir?" She questioned. "I would like to have Midoriya Izuku, Shoji Mezo and Jiro Kyouka to be my Interns, think you can send those requests to UA?" Izuku asked, as Ryuko sat next to him. "We can do that right away sir!" The receptionist said, hanging up. "So what was that about?" Ryuko asked. "It was nothing, just asking for the receptionist to get me a couple of interns. That's all." Izuku said, as Ryuko nodded.
They would continue to sit on the couch as they watched the rest of the Sports Festivals from the higher years of UA. And Ryuko would smirk a few times whenever her current Work Studies intern had defeated her opponents with her higher agility and speed. Whilst Izuku had cheered for the boy who could phase himself through anything, as well as the young man who could eat any item and turn a part of himself into said item that he ate and use it against his opponents. This year was truly a smorgasbord of strong students for the heroes of this world. And Izuku couldn't be any happier.
A/N That is the end of the chapter! I hope you all aren't too angry about how short this chapter as a whole is. This one was meant to be a smaller chapter to bring myself back into the groove of making chapters for stories that don't have a whole lot of chapters in them on this platform.
