Late at night in his room, Gray was a bit sleepless. He was still acclimating to the Ghost World. So he exited his room and went to the roof. He saw Blitzney up there and she looked back at him.

Blitzney: Oh hey newbie. Watcha doin up here?

Gray approached the edge of the roof and sat next to her. She was smoking something.

Gray: What's that?

Blitzney: A ghost cigarette. Ghosts can't get cancer and stuff but this does help clear my mind.

Gray nodded. Why the hell would they have ghost cigarettes...

Blitzney chuckled a bit at the perplexed expression on his face. Covering her mouth a bit.

Blitzney: I take it ya couldn't sleep eh?

Gray: Yeah...

Blitzney took a drag, blowing out the smoke afterwards.

Blitzney: You're kinda cute y'know, Gray.

Gray blushed a bit at her words.

Blitzney: Easy pal. Pretty sure that would count as some type necrophi- Nevermind I'm a ghost not a corpse.

They just sat in silence a bit.

Blitzney: So...tell me bout yourself.

Gray looked down. He then cleared his throat and nodded.

Gray: I came from a single parent household...my dad left saying he was going to get milk...since then my mom abused me...then my older sister who is 23 bought a house and when our mom passed she took me in...I owe it to her to make it through this and go back.

Blitzney nodded. Somewhat understanding what it was like to grow up in a shit way.

Blitzney: Short but to the point. I suppose I owe you a backstory of myself...

FLASHBACK SEQUENCE...
(This is from when Blitzney was alive)

Blitzney when alive wasn't great. Her childhood of a drugged up father and mother didn't make her childhood easy. At 17, she had been caught illegally doing many things. Things that will not be named.

She was struck by lightning.

BACK IN THE PRESENT...

Gray: Wow...you were a terrible person! Wait- Is that it.

Blitzney: Yeah...Also, as an extra note for ya, I had a shit life and let it make me a shit person whereas while you may he a chicken shit, you still function. Words from the not so wise, don't hang around with shitty people and power through the shitty situations. I learned what happens when you don't.

Gray nodded.

Blitzney: Nothing can really excuse what I was. But so long as you don't end up like me, you're good.

Gray: I feel like a few details were missing from that thoug-

Blitzney: You don't want three hours of how shitty I was when I was alive. Trust me.

She shrugged and patted his shoulder.

Blitzney: Rest up. Unlike us, you need sleep. Ya never know what tommorow could bring.

Gray nodded and headed back to his room. With new insights in tow to boot. Now he knew Blitzney's background. And he felt bad, because she was like that due to her terrible family. But she also chose to do those things, whether by pressure or not.

Gray: She left out so many details but made it clear she was terrible...but it's a world of ghosts and these guys are fighters that hunt evil ghosts...I figured that they wouldn't be exactly good people when alive. Or happy ones.

Gray went and laid down in his bed. He closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.

THE NEXT MORNING...

Gray woke up with a mustache drawn on him.

Gray: Wha-

On his wall was "Blitzney wuz here +Marley and Al."

Gray: Seriously...I can't believe we're ending on a terrible comedic bit.
