Marley stared at Armageddon. He had a formidable aura and appearance. Armageddon emanated a hatred. A raw hatred. Armageddon then shot a blast at Marley. Marley dodged but then Armageddon quickly closed the distance between the two of them and morphed one of his arms into a blade.
He swung at Marley but he managed to block with his dagger. Marley was struggling to push back against Armageddon. He tried to decay Armageddon, but that did not work.
Marley: Oh sh-
Armageddon put one of his smaller, bottom arms up to Marley and shot a blast that propelled him backwards. Armageddon then stopped his momentum using a sort of telekinesis and repeatedly smashed Marley into the dirt.
Armageddon: DIE!!!
Armageddon let loose several projectiles and a beam while holding Marley in place. Marley was directly struck and flung backwards.
Marley: ARG!!!
Marley was sent falling back, his ectoplasm bleeding out from every area. Marley's core was exposed. He knew that Armageddon would kill him here...unless...
Unless he brought out Megamarl. So, Marley reached and pulled out the key to his neck shackle and quickly put it into its slot, turning it. Armageddon launched a blast at Marley as he did so and it created a large cloud of smoke.
Armageddon stood there for a moment waiting for the smoke to clear. It was then he heard a menacing cackle as Marley stepped through the smoke. Armageddon then noticed his eyes had turned yellow. He was told about Megamarl incase he ran into him.
Armageddon readied himself, getting ready to fire his blasts.
Armageddon: You'll die here!
Marley's mouth curved to a menacing smile, he combined his dagger and staff into a scythe. Megamarl was loose.
Megamarl: BAHAHAHAHA!!! Oh, I'm even stronger than last time! Oh this is a high I don't wanna come down from!
Megamarl was not lying. Each time Marley releases him, his power grows exponentially.
Armageddon fired several blasts but Megamarl evaded and ran close, punching Armageddon back. Armageddon reeled before taking flight and using his telekinesis to hurl buildings and people at Megamarl. Megamarl watched with a smile on his face and jumped towards Armageddon in the sky.
He twirled his scythe and diced anything in his path, he then dug his scythe into Armageddon's right knee. That took out one of Armageddon's six cores. Then he decayed Armageddon's left leg taking out another core. Armageddon roared in pain before shooting Megamarl into Times Square.
Armageddon: Stop it!
As Megamarl crashed into the stairs, several people looked shocked, not knowing what was happening since they couldn't see Megamarl or Armageddon.
Megamarl activated his decay but on a new level. The Area of Decay. Everything around Megamarl, people, buildings, you name it was disintegrated.
(Ability Explained: Megamarl's Area of Decay destroys anything within a certain vicinity. He controls what does and doesn't decay.)
Megamarl laughed as people screamed. Smiled as they faded to dust. To him, it was an exquisite sight. The pain and suffering of people who desperately wanted to live. The fear of those being brought to death. That was his greatest kick. A better hit than any kind of drug.
Armageddon noticed this new application of Megamarl's power and then he flew up and using his telekinesis uprooted the Empire State Building and threw it at Megamarl.
Megamarl laughed and jumped up. His Area of Decay destroyed the Empire State as he went through it. Everything and everyone within reduced to nothing. When he reached Armageddon he plunged his scythe into his shoulder, destroying a core.
Armageddon shot him away and hurled a plane at Megamarl. But, Megamarl easily destroyed it with his decay. Quickly moving in, Megamarl cut off Armageddon's right arm and decayed it, destroying a fourth core.
Megamarl: You're gonna die here!
He spiked Armageddon into the ground.
Megamarl: I'll ingest your ectoplasm, divulge in your suffering!
Megamarl dropped down and shoved his scythe through Armageddon's head, destroying his fifth core. This left Armageddon with just one core left. He was helpless against the power that was Megamarl. The fusion with other Anarghosts, all his trials...were for nothing.
Armageddon: RAAAAARGHHHH!!!
He released a burst of power that sent Megamarl flying back, still laughing like a maniac however. Armageddon then got up and started to run. That is until...
...He started to remember his human life...
