I have been working as the CEO's secretary for almost 2 years now , and he is an amazing man , but he recently retired and his son is taking over.
Here I am standing waiting for the CEO , along with all the main workers of the company to welcome him
Before anyone came in a strong and musky scent hit my nostrils,and i certainly knew it was my mate . But fortunately the only person that came in with overpowering scent , was my mate ,alone with a dominant aura surrounding and also he was the CEO as everyone bowed and greeted him with respect, I was too dazed to say anything and I also noticed him looking at me with his cold eyes
I didn't pay attention to the cold stare , and i tried not jump into his embrace , into my alpha's embrace . It was my dream to meet my mate and i mean who doesn't want to be with their mate.
I waited for him to move into his office as i finished all the works that i had to do.
I was about to go to the CEO 's office as his secretary I had to inform him about his schedule, but also can't wait to finally talk to my mate.
I knocked on the door , and heard a come in .
I went in , and it felt as if someone stabbed me , I saw an omega on my mate's lap , as he spoke "From now on , She will be my secretary,pass her the schedule and you can leave "
I was devestated but I asked again " leave ? " .
"Yes you can leave , I am transferring you to my friends company as i no longer need you here " he said .
I just nodded ," can I have a moment in private sir?" I said , hoping it was just a show he put up. "Sure " he replied, and motioned the female omega to leave.
As she went out i asked " you know us about being mate's right?" "I do , and what about it" he said , seemingly uninterested
"What about it?, you are my mate and I am your-" before i could finish my sentence he came in front of me and held my neck harshly , which was obviously chocking me and said ," I.Don't.care,i don't want anyone as my mate , and I am not interested in relationships , so get the hell out and never show my your face" and took his hand off of my neck ,which made me stumble backwards, i couldn't stand it anymore I was in the verge of tears , i just went out from his office and got my stuff and left that place not bothering about anything else , as I was leaving the manager handed me the transfer letter , and wished me good luck.
(Few months later)
I am working at my new work place and I have made new friends,Dunk and Mix.
But it still hurts to remember that my own mate rejected me . He sometimes comes here for meetings , and sometimes we both are in the same room for a meeting. His scent comforts me , but his presence pains me , it's impossible to move on , it's impossible to even try.
