The night grew late, but Incognito and I remained engrossed in our conversation in the quiet corner of the hotel lounge. The cold London air and the soft, melancholic drizzle outside couldn't dampen my spirits. Normally, back in Indonesia, the sound of rain would lull me to sleep, but here, the soothing sound of Incognito's voice kept me wide awake, more effective than any lullaby.

In the dimly lit lounge, her voice was like a mesmerizing melody, weaving its way into my heart. She might have thought we were just having a casual chat, but her intense gaze and the warmth in her tone captivated me completely. My heart raced every time her lips curled into a sweet, gentle smile during our serious conversation.

"Are you sleepy yet?" Incognito asked, her eyes searching mine with genuine concern. "I'm sorry if I'm keeping you up. You have to audit tomorrow, don't you?"

"No, I'm not sleepy at all. You're like black coffee, keeping me wide awake!" I joked with a smile, trying to mask the fluttering in my chest.

"Oh, you!" Incognito playfully pinched my arm. The brief contact sent a thrill through me, making my heart pound even harder. To her, it was probably just a friendly gesture, but to me, that small touch felt electric.

Am I falling for her? I wondered, my thoughts drifting back to our first meeting in Ciwidey. From the moment I met her, there was something unique and magnetic about her that drew me in, capturing my heart effortlessly.

"Don't daydream!" Incognito's whisper pulled me back to the present, startling me. I realized I had been staring at her, lost in my thoughts for several seconds. Embarrassed, I hoped she hadn't noticed how deeply I was affected by her presence.

"It's late, let's get some rest. I'll walk you to your room," I said, my voice faltering slightly as I tried to regain my composure. I couldn't stay this close to her any longer without risking my heart revealing too much. It would be embarrassing if she discovered how easily I had fallen for her.

"Alright," Incognito replied, her eyes twinkling as she smiled and gave me a playful wink.

We left the lounge and walked together through the dimly lit hotel corridor toward the elevator. My hand ached to reach out and hold hers, but I resisted the urge. Remember, you've only just met this girl! I scolded myself silently.

We rode the elevator to her floor, which, to my surprise, was the same as mine. The coincidence made me uneasy. Was it really just a coincidence?

"Thank you so much for meeting with me and helping me out," Incognito whispered sweetly as we reached her door. Her smile was radiant, and the sincerity in her eyes made my heart skip a beat.

"You're welcome. I'm happy to see you often," I replied, striving to sound casual. Then, something happened that I hadn't anticipated. Incognito suddenly leaned in and kissed my cheek. The kiss was soft and fleeting, but the warmth of her lips sent a surge of heat through my body, leaving me breathless.

I tried to act nonchalant, knowing that the kiss might have been just a friendly gesture. But the feel of her lips lingered, sending a thrill through my veins and making it hard to maintain my composure.

"Good night, see you tomorrow," I said, forcing a smile and stepping back from her door. I walked away, feeling the warmth of her kiss still burning on my cheek. Every step toward my room felt lighter, buoyed by the exhilarating mix of emotions swirling inside me. It had been an unexpectedly beautiful night, filled with a sense of blossoming love and endless possibilities.
