Before the rise of the two powers, Kali's creation began to cause natural disasters around the world. Tsunamis, heavy rains, and earthquakes became more frequent and intense, signaling the growing presence of evil. Sumati, sensing the turmoil, felt the divine energy of Kalki moving inside her womb. She was in tears and deeply emotional, understanding the significance of these events.
"My child, you are reacting to the world's pain. The forces of evil must be growing stronger," Sumati whispered.
As days went by, the unnatural occurrences continued, causing distress among the villagers. Bhairava, using his divine powers, understood the source of the disturbances and sensed the growing power of Kali. However, he chose to keep this information to himself for the time being, not wanting to alarm anyone prematurely.
"The rise of this dark force is undeniable. We must prepare for greater challenges ahead," Bhairava thought.
Ashwatthama, noticing the increasing intensity of the disasters and Bhairava's concern, took extra precautions to protect Sumati and Kalki, although he was unaware of the specific threat of Kali.
"We must be ever vigilant, Bhairava. The safety of Sumati and Kalki is paramount. These disasters are a sign that the forces of evil are growing bolder," Ashwatthama said.
One day, Sumati felt overwhelmed by the evil energy spreading rapidly. Confronted by the growing darkness, she went to the Vishnu temple to pray, seeking guidance and strength. She was alone in her desperate prayer when she felt a sudden surge of pain.
"O Lord Vishnu, protect us from this evil. Show me the way," Sumati cried, her voice filled with desperation.
Just then, a devout villager, a severe devotee of Vishnu, found Sumati in pain and immediately came to her aid. He gently helped her to her feet and guided her back to her home.
"Sumati, you are not alone. We are all here for you," the villager reassured her.
Seeing Sumati's distress, Ashwatthama felt a deep sense of responsibility and guilt. Memories of his past actions during the Mahabharata flashed through his mind—his attempts to harm an unborn child and now his role as a protector.
"I tried to harm an innocent life in my past, and now I must protect this sacred one. This is my chance for redemption," Ashwatthama thought.
"Sumati, I know the pain of carrying a heavy burden. My past is filled with regret, and I have wandered this earth cursed and alone. But your strength and faith give me hope. Together we will protect Kalki," Ashwatthama said with determination.
"Your words bring me comfort, Ashwatthama. I feel your pain and see your determination. We are bound by this divine purpose," Sumati responded emotionally.
"I will do everything in my power to ensure Kalki's safety. Your courage inspires me, Sumati," Ashwatthama continued.
Suddenly, Sumati experienced intense labor pains. The villagers, including the devout villager, quickly gathered to help her. As each part of Kalki's body emerged from her womb, divine energy spread across the village, destroying the evil entities hidden among the crowd. The disturbances became more severe, shaking the earth and causing chaos among the dark forces.
"The divine energy is too strong. This must be Kalki's doing!" exclaimed the devout villager.
As Kalki was born fully into the world, his immense divine energy rendered Kali weak and uncontrollable. The astrologer, realizing the danger, advised the scientist to take Kali to another planet immediately. They decided to act quickly, as the inauspicious Raghu Dasha and the need to avoid confrontation with Kalki until he was 16 years old necessitated their hasty departure.
"The divine energy is too strong. Take Kali away to another planet. He must not confront Kalki until he is 16 years old," the astrologer urged.
As they transported Kali to another planet, Ashwatthama, unaware of the specifics, felt a profound emotional release. As Kali flew away, Kalki was born with immense divine energy. The crowd cheered, and Bhairava sensed the happenings on the evil side. Ashwatthama, in tears, cried out "Krishna!" recalling the Mahabharata events where he tried to harm a child in the womb and now acted as a savior.
The devout villager pointed out the Namam mark on Kalki's forehead, shouting "Kalki! Kalki!" Sumati was emotional upon his birth. Meanwhile, the astrologer noticed a similar mark on Kali's forehead in an evil form as they took him to another planet.
