Izuku's POV
I stared at the prison wall.
It's been a week, and we made a friend. He wouldn't tell us his name, though. He did tell us that one way to deal with grief (or to bottle it up) is to not mention the dead person by name.
We will refer to Eri as "our younger sister", and that's that.
We sleep on a bunk bed, and we are in protective custody, there's a glass wall, and I'm sure that there are pro heroes behind it, staring at us live.
They've tried to interview us, but have given up.
Today they'll try again.
"We need to get out as fast as we can, Izu. We need to figure out an escape-" Himi raises her voice in desperation.
I put my hand over her mouth. "The pros are behind that mirror, and they can hear us. We'll die if we stay here, and as your older brother I will get you out, but we can't talk about it now."
She nodded, and I could see the tears well up in her eyes. "I miss her!" She wailed, clinging on to me. "We left her with that monster for three hours, and he tortured her to death!"
I patted her head, "I miss her so much, but I have to stay strong for you. Don't worry, I'll get you out somehow." I promised, staring down at her.
She nodded through the tears.
"I knew Father was a terrible person! I should have fought the choice! Not only that, but we got arrested! We'll die before we can come up with a plan!"
I tucked her hair behind her ears, "I should have fought him. I should have made sure she was safe. I should have made sure we wouldn't get arrested. I made a stupid mistake because of grief, this situation is entirely my fault."
She hugged me tighter, "It's not! It's Father's fault! You have to stop blaming yourself, please stop, Deku!"
We both froze once those words left her mouth, "I haven't heard that nickname in years." I whispered, Himiko took the moment to hug me again.
"I'm sorry! It just slipped out." She wiped her eyes, "whenever you start blaming yourself, I think of those years and it just slips out."
I hugged her back, "thank you."
We both sat on the bed hugging each other, and it was turning into a crying mess.
"Kacchan!" I called out to the explosive boy. We would go over to his house whenever the abuse got too bad, we were sleeping over so often that he was basically our older brother. "Can you make katsudon?"
We were staying over that night, Mother had given birth to Eri recently, so she couldn't protect us. We never mentioned Eri by name, since Kacchan didn't need to worry, and he never asked.
"Sure Deku. Knives, do you want it to?" He called from the kitchen. I wondered where he got all the nicknames.
"I'll take it to, Kacchan!" She replied happily. She was seven, we were both eight. We cuddled next to each other with a large blanket, and watched All Might movies.
"When I become a hero, I'm going to be exactly like All Might!" I blurted out randomly. It was all a shared dream between the three of us, to become heroes.
We laughed at the terrible movies, and we laughed with each other. I miss my older brother. I miss my youngest sister.
"Do you think Kacchan is at U.A. like he dreamed?" I whisper, Himiko is still curled up by my side.
She looks up thoughtfully, "yes! Of course he did! He would have done it for us." We sat together in comfortable silence.
"When we escape, do you think we'll have to fight him? Do you think we'll ever have to kill him?"
She looks up into my eyes, "we'll refuse. We won't fight him. That's the pact as villains, you don't ever harm family. What are we without rules?"
I nod in agreement, "if we ever run into Kacchan, we run away. No harming him."
We're laying down on the bed, so I hug her tighter, and that's how we fall asleep.
Aizawa's POV
We are carefully watching the two children, recording their every movement and word. "We need to interview them again."
We think that they might be villains, one could be Scythe. But he was too young, and appeared to have no quirk on the surface.
A villain such as Scythe needs a quirk! But they're so young, we need to interview them and get all the details we can.
"But the green-haired one refused last time!" Hizashi says, they put up quite the fight last time we tried to interview them.
"We shall try again. They hospitalized Endeavor himself, we need to know as much as we can about them." All Might pushes his chair back.
"Have you contacted Detective Tsukauchi?" I ask, staring at the peculiar children. They keep mentioning a "Kacchan", but we don't have one in our database.
"Yep," Hizashi replies, "he's about to get here. He'll call when he arrives, then we'll move the children to the interrogation room."
"Good."
All three of us are looking at the children, they appear to have fallen asleep curled up next to each other.
"They appear to be siblings. Maybe this 'Kacchan' is their older brother, who isn't in the system. They are villains." The other two nod in agreement.
It feels weird to watch two children sleep, they appear to be fifteen and sixteen, around the age of my students. But they're villains, we have to make sure they don't run.
We need to interview them.
Just that moment, Hizashi's phone begins to ring. "Hello?" He says into the phone, quieter than normal. He mumbles in agreement every now and then, until he hangs up.
"I assume that's Tsukauchi?" All Might says, apparently he's really good friends with the detective.
Hizashi nods, "we need to move them to Interrogation Room B." We nod grimly, thinking about what could happen.
-----
We have successfully moved the children into the room, they're both handcuffed to the table, and Tsukauchi is in front of them.
I'm in my hero outfit, and so his Hizashi, just in case they manage to escape.
Tsukauchi shuffles his papers, he knows what Scythe has done, and he's worried. We don't know what his quirk is, so we're prepared for anything.
"Let's start the interview."
