Can't Save Me Now (Villain Deku AU)

Chapter 6

Bakugo's POV

I hate my life.

After that sleepover disaster, the entire class is now worried about me. Thanks a lot, Raccoon Eyes. 

They all whisper and talk about me, while I just stare at the floor. I can't bring myself to be the explosive bitch I was.

"Class, quiet." Aizawa-sensei walked in, and he somehow seemed more tired. "I have news that will change your school life." 

Everyone around me started talking about what it could be, completely ignoring me. Good. Now they can stop bothering me.

Right on cue, Shitty Hair walked up to me. "What do you think this 'change' will be about, Bakubro?" 

"I don't care," I said very unconvincingly. 

He exchanges a look with the rest of the Bakusquad, they seem to have a whole conversation just by gesturing slightly. 

"We're worried about you." Pikachu finally says, breaking the silence. 

I just mutter something under my breath and ignore what they say next. It goes well until Pinky gets upset.

"You listen here, Katsuki." My worst enemy, my own first name. She needs to do more to get under my skin. "We don't know what's wrong, and you need to tell us." 

"Nothing's wrong, now leave me alone you stupid extras." I yell, they seem relieved that I did something "normal". 

Little do they know, the quiet, caring me is the normal one.

"Class, quiet down." He's even more tired after the class-wide discussion. "The villains Scythe and Massacre are in protective custody."

The class seemed to freeze at his words. They captured Scythe? But he's like a ghost! Who even is Massacre?

"Aizawa-sensei, who even is Massacre?" Yaoyorozu asked him thoughtfully. We were all too shocked about the Scythe part to think about Massacre.

"Massacre is a villain, but she hasn't committed any notable crimes that we know of. Scythe will burn a scythe onto the palm of the victim, but Massacre doesn't have an MO. She's a new villain that works with Scythe."

Yaoyorozu seemed content with that answer, but that just raised more questions for us. For instance, how would this change our life?

"How did they catch them?" Icy-hot asked, it did seem out of character for Scythe to a) work alone, and b) get caught. 

"That brings me to the next part, every question you get should be answered by them." I was so lost right then. "Because they're going to be U.A. students."

Aizawa-sensei explained that because of their young age and motivations to be heroes (which he never specified), the rest of the staff team decided that they would try and rehabilitate them. 

And that they would be coming in two days.

Two villains, one of which is notoriously a mastermind, and the other is a mystery, and they're coming into our dorm rooms.

Some kids speculated that they were trying to infiltrate U.A., but due to the trackers and quirk blockers (which they knew beforehand) would change that. 

So there were two villains, and we didn't know their motives, and they were coming into our dorm rooms.

What could go wrong?

As the day drew closer, we all started to worry. They would come in the middle of the night, and we were supposed to stay up to watch them.

"I'm going to sleep, you'll be fine without me." I was the first to crack, if I didn't get enough sleep, I'd blow the dorms up.

The stupid extras seemed worried. "If we don't have Bakugo, will we even survive?" 

"Tokoyami's Dark Shadow might protect us if we turn off the lights."

"And Bakugo's quirk wouldn't work in a closed space."

"We can send Kirishima to get him if we need his help."

After that, they let me go to my room, while they were all in the commons, waiting for two villains to arrive.

"Don't mention me by name to the villains, I was kidnapped and you could be putting me in danger by doing that." I was thinking ahead, what was I turning into?

But they understood, and I could go sleep without worrying.

Mina's POV

I was worried out of my mind, we all were. Except Todoroki, he seemed fine with it, but I couldn't read him. I need to get more gossip on Todoroki.

"Do you want to try and lighten the mood?" Jiro asked, we needed something to distract from the two villains.

"I-I guess I could gossip with you girls?" I added, unsure of myself. I wasn't sure what I could remember, I was scared.

We all sat in a circle, and were waiting for someone to break the ice. "We were talking about...him, before you stopped the other day?" Hagakure finally said.

I nodded, but my plan had failed and none of it was true.

I had nothing on...him. 

"What about Todoroki? I heard Scythe hospitalized Endeavor, he must really hate Scythe now." Some reporters noticed that Endeavor hadn't gone on patrol since Scythe was arrested.

And then I realized that Todoroki was right behind me and heard it.

"Hey, Todoroki." I cringed when I realized that. "Did you hear that?" I knew he did.

He just seemed shocked, "Scythe...hospitalized Endeavor? I haven't seen him since Scythe was arrested but I never put it together..."

Oh the poor baby, "I don't know for sure, it's just something I think." 

Normally I wouldn't dream of saying that, but for Todoroki? I'd ruin my reputation. Still, he seemed shocked.

"Maybe gossip was the wrong choice." Uraraka said after Todoroki left to talk with Iida. "But what do we talk about?"

"How about the guys we like?" 

I would never think that Tsuyu would say that. I had no words. None at all. Neither did the rest of us.

"Now you need to tell us, Tsu!" I never thought that Jiro would be so loud, but if I could've spoken, I would have yelled too. 

She looked at the ground sheepishly, "Tokoyami." She finally said. 

I squealed and hugged her, "no wonder you spend to much time together! I have to tell him now!" And I bolted before anyone could've stopped me.

And I was almost to Tokoyami's corner, until I heard the doors open. I ran to my friends in fear, "I think the villains are here."
