*ON HOLD* Tails Together(A Naruto Neglect fic.)

Chapter two 〰Acadamy〰

Naruto was easily the smartest kid in the whole academy but you would never know because he rarely came to class and if he did he was to bored or busy reading scrolls on jutsu to pay attention. There was a lot of reasons for that, such as the fact that because his parents don't talk to him enough to make sure he go's and because mito always spreads lies about him, the children all stayed away from him so he felt out of place and alone. Another was because he was far smarter than any of them, besides maybe Shikamaru but he never tried. Only grades were shown to the hokage, his father, because that's all he looked at. The student attendance was never shown to the parents because the system relied on the children wanting to be there and their parents making sure they got there, two things Naruto never had. He only had a few friends there named shikamaru, choji, kiba and akamaru, and he even talked to hinata sometimes. Naruto never showed how smart he was to anyone because one; he wanted to stay in his grade with his friends and two; he didn't want everyone to talk about him more than they do. The third hokage did have him take an IQ test once without telling his father and it was higher than a low level Nara's. The academy is for 5 years from 7-12 in age and Naruto and Mito were always in the same class with a teacher named Iruka-sensei, who Naruto loved because he treated him the same as everyone else. One day however was horrible

Naruto's Pov.
  I woke up at 5:00 in the morning to take a shower before the family got up. After my shower I put on my orange tracksuit that I hated and cast a genjustu on myself so I stayed looking my age. I brushed my teeth and then put on my shoes and left. 'Hey Kurama, how are you doing.' 'Hey Kit, I'm fine but you seem sad, what's up?.'
' I just wish I had a real family and people that understand how I feel and have been treated all my life.' ' You can Kit, the other 9 jinchuriki all have felt this pain and loneliness.' 'How can I find them and because I'm the new sage of six paths do you think they would want to be my friends? If they did we could all have like a new family together!' ' Sure they should like that and even if they don't the tailed beasts will want you to because you have the same aura as are dad the sage of six paths. Though I'm sure the humans will too because you will understand them.' 'Thanks Kurama but the problem is finding them, can my summoning foxes sniff them out by tails beast chakra?' 'Sure you can try later but you've arrived at your class.' 'Oh.... Thanks I guess.' I can't wait till later! I walk to my seat hearing murmurs from a few people saying "oh thats mitos brother." " Ya the one that wears her dresses!" Great she spead another lie about me.... Best sister ever!(sarcasm) I sat in my seat in the far back corner and stared out the window wondering why I was so hated by her. My friends came up to me and said hey. I replied with a quick hi back and then the teacher came in. He taught for a while but I just started reading a scroll on how to create a sharper blade of your nature chakra around a sword or weapon for cleaner cuts. Then I heard him say that we are going to try doing are clone Justu and we all walked to the front of the class to do it. I hate this Jutsu because I have too much chakra so I can't make one I would have to make 10 but I can't or everyone would know I was good. So when it came to me I just did a horrible looking clone and everyone in the class yelled awful things about me while my friends looked at me with pitty. I felt like I was gonna cry but I remembered my training and kept from doing it until I heard the bell ring and ran off to the forest to cry. I hate this so much. My friends are fine but the rest of the class is horrible. I wouldn't be able to take it if mito was there! I can't even tell my parents because they have had to focus on her training and because of this secret I needed to distance myself. It's not like I like to lie but after they started training with Mito they slowly forgot about including me! I remembered not seeing her earlier and then realized the all left on a training trip without me. That was the last straw! Kurama we are leaving this village to look for the jinchuriki tomorrow morning. I'm going to go get permission from the third hokage because he's in charge right now! And when we leave I hope that my stupid family realize how horrible they are to me and when I come back they will love me again! Lets go! I ran and ran to the hokage office and up the stairs and knocked over some people and their papers but I kept running even though they were yelling at me. I slammed the door open and watched as my grandpa figure looked up at me with a smile. "Gramps I need to go on a quest and to do that I need to leave this village." I said with a look that told him I meant it. First he had a shocked face but it soon turned into a look of pity and understanding. "Naruto, my boy, I do understand you but may I ask what you are planing to do on this quest. Also do you think your father would allow you to do this, if he even realizes you left?" He mumbled the last part under his breath but With my excellent hearing I heard him. He has a point though. "He can't say anything if the village elders over rule him and I'm sure he would be happy that his 'demon fox' son left the village and the villagers would be happy too. He wouldn't even have to listen to mito complaining about me or wanting to turn my bedroom into a closet." There goes his look of sadness and pitty again- I HATE that look. "And what would be so important that the village elders would agree to something like this, they aren't going to let some 10 year old kid leave the village;especially the hokages kid that happened to hold the nine tailed beast." Again he had a point but I do have a plan that me being so smart can convince the elders so I said "I'm going to search for the other eight jinchuriki that all have know the same pain and sadness I have. We can all be a big family and the tailed beast are so maybe we can all be friends. Plus I'm the new sage of six paths so I'm kinda like there stepdad and I can make them feel safe! Just ask the elders what they think of having all the tailed beasts in league with the leaf village. Great for the military force and to sway other villages into peace treaties! They have to agree they would be stupid not too! What's better then one human weapon, it's nine human weapons!" At the end of my little speech I was panting but I had the biggest smile I could make on my face matched with my cerulean blue eyes. If I wasn't a jinchuriki I would be called an angel. Gramps can't say no to this face! I watched his face shift into multiple emotions until it settled on a proud smile. "I helped raise a smart child, I'll ask but can see no problems. So take this scroll of permission and leave tomorrow morning and because I'm not sure how fast they will be, make sure don't run into your parents and sister- make sure to stay off the path and in the forest, plus hide your chakra signature, check in every one in a while and be SAFE!." He started off into a soft voice but it turned into a wise voice that sounded like a parent scolding a child. "Thanks Gramps! I will!" I ran and gave him a big hug while I heard him chuckling- I love his laugh- smiling I ran home to pack.
