It's 2 am on a Wednesday. Im waiting for my boyfriend Adam to come home. Im a little worried. I have this feeling something bad is going to happen. I turn on the TV to keep my mind off things. I start to feel hungry. I put on a hoodie and grab my keys. Im going down to the gas station to grab a few snacks. As Im walking out of the apartment building, I get excited when I see my boyfriend's car outside in the parking lot. We could get snacks together, I thought. But when I got to the car window, I saw him making out with another girl.
It's the same girl who moved in not too long ago. She's a freshman at our college university. Adam is a junior, and I am a sophomore.
I remember him rushing to help her get settled in. I always felt like Adam was nice, so I didn't think much of it. I guess I was wrong... When I realized what I had just seen, I was furious, holding in tears, wanting to run down my face. I slam my hands on the window. Adam turned and looked shocked to see me, but what did this dumbass expect, right in front of the building...
He rolls down his window.
"Get the fuck out of this car Adam."
"Fuck off, Asia" he grumbled as if I was the problem... I honestly don't know what to say or if I want to say anything. I'm just so confused and hurt. "What the fuck are you doing? What is wrong with you?!" I yelled. "Asia, you're fucking annoying what made you think I was happy with you. I had the opportunity, and I got something better."
"Do you know how much you're losing right now!?"
Adam chuckles, saying, "And what exactly is it? All I want is right here."
I turn to the girl, and she smirks. She then continues to introduce herself...
"Hi! Im Emma, nice to meet you! Im so sorry about this... I thought you were his sister."
She pouts just for her to flash her teeth with the most evil and disturbing smile. Does she think she's some villain? Her face says it all. She knew, but she was going to play this innocent look.
"I want you and your stuff gone when I return."
I walk away fast before he can catch a tear running down my face.
I can't even think; I get inside my car, shut the door, and drive off. All I could do was focus on the road, And before I knew it, I had reached the convenience store. At this point, I'm grabbing any and everything. Every comfort food I could grab was in my hand. I go up to pay, and the boy at the register gives me a look. I can tell he's judging me, but I couldn't care less. I need this. I deserve this. I'm back in my car, and I get to stuffing my face. I can't even do that without crying cause now the thoughts are rushing in. I ended up falling asleep in my car.
I woke up and looked at the time. It was now 4:33 am. I start heading home, and as I enter the parking lot, I see Adam's car still outside. I guess he's staying the night with Blondie. Of course, it wouldn't make a difference. Im gonna see them in school and the same apartment building. I head inside and go to sleep immediately. Im done with all the crying.
Now I'm just tired.
