Encounter

(Nothing really interesting is going to happen in this chapter tbh) 

Aether was finally finished with his abyss work so he decided to stroll out in a region called Liyue. As he was walking around the Liyue harbor, he suddenly spotted his sister looking around Liyue with a flying emergency food. 

Before he even got here, he noticed some missing person posters with the same exact description of him. He was too tired to consider the posters since he was already tired of abyss work that the abyss mages keep on piling up for him. 

He quickly hid avoiding to get caught by his sister. But today was in fact lantern rite. The sidewalks were crowded, as well we're the rodes. He was able to escape the crowd within a whim, not getting noticed by his twin sister, but instead got caught by a short greenish haired boy staring daggers at him.

 Aether was too tired and didn't want any trouble nor his sister finding him. He was looking around searching for situations to escape within, but then he felt a hand on his shoulder sending shivers down his spine. Thoughts were running through his head as such as why he didn't hear any footsteps or feel any presence. "I've never seen you around here. Who are you?" The short male questioned staring into his soul.

(Of course I've gotta call Xiao short)

"Hmm I wonder, who am I?" Aether said before lunging into the sky and wind gliding his way out of encountering anyone. Even though Aether thought he glided far enough from the Liyue harbor, standing on a cliff viewing the night sky. "Can you answer my question?" Someone said behind him jump scaring him. 

"Why do you care so much? I'm just an outsider strolling the streets." Aether replied annoying the person even more. "I am Xiao. An adeptus who has been protecting Liyue for hundreds of years. I don't want a suspicious abnormal outsider terrorizing Liyue, do I?" Xiao said with a cold expression on his face. "I guess you do have a point there. Well, I don't need or want to terrorize Liyue at all. Can you just forget that I existed and let me go?" Aether asked, trying to run away, but was grabbed by the arm. "You look.. a lot like the traveler"
