I look myself in the mirror. Doubts and insecurities forming in my head. I need to look perfect.

The tight white skirt goes all the way down to my ankle, paired with a vibrant orange top. My hair cascades behind my back in slight waves but the front pieces are pinned back. As for jewelry I am decked in gold. While I never saw my brothers for the past 10 years, Marco gave a Black Amex card to the school to give to me when I turned fourteen.

I hear a knock as I put on a new set of gold earrings.

"Come in!"

"Everyone is waiting for you. Hurry up." Luca says, annoyed.

I finish putting on the second one and grab my phone before following him out. Me and Antonio argue a lot before deciding that I should take the passenger seat. This time Luca is the one driving. Giving me the opportunity to actually talk.

"So how come you all are so grumpy? Was it always like this when I left- sorry. When I got sent away?"

He releases a sigh. "None of your business."

"Is it because you guys don't have any girlfriends? Because that would explain a lot."

He glares at me from the corner of his eye. "Do you ever shut up?"

"Do you ever answer questions?"

"I answer the ones that are worth my time."

Now let's have a little fun.

Fake tears gather in my eyes, I hold them back easily knowing I can open the floodgates as well as close them with the snap of my fingers. "You don't think I'm worthy of your time?" I ask with a sad tone as I sniffle. He looks my way with boredom but that quickly changes into panic as I let the first few tears go.

"Wait! Don't cry! I don't know how to make you stop! God grandfather is going to kill me. Please don't cry?" He begs. Half his attention on the road while the other half is on me.

I sniffle again before letting more tears go. "But you said I'm not worth your time."

"I don't mean that. Well I kind of did- but you shouldn't waste your tears on me being honest."
Something we both agree on.

I fake cry harder. "What the fuck is wrong with her? what did you do?" Alessio asks from the backseat.

"I might've told her she's not worth my time." He says. Fear is so obvious in his eyes it almost makes me laugh.

"You fucking moron. Apologize." Alessio demands.

"What?!" He responds. I cry harder. I just wanted a bit of fun but an apology does sound appealing.

"Apologize." Alessio repeats, this time sounding the harmless word that I've been dying to hear from all six of them out.

Luca reluctantly looks at me and apologizes. I sniffle a bit before making the tears abruptly stop.

"It's okay I guess. I just felt really hurt." I say while giving him a sad smile.

"Y-yeah..." He stutters looking at my face in curiosity and confusion that was red and blotchy only seconds ago.

We get to the huge castle. A butler opens the door for me, offering his hand to help me down. I take it and thank him before making my way to the grand front doors. The guards open the huge fancy doors and lead me to the grand dinning room where the rest of my family is. My brothers follow closely behind. Everyone stares at me. My uncles, my aunts, my grandparents, my cousins. They all stare in pin drop silence.

"Oh you've gotten so beautiful." Aunt Bianca says in awe as she gets up from her seat and pulls me in an air cutting hug.

The rest come in a huge wave after her. Each taking their time to hug me and tell how much they miss me while others wait their turn.
