"Eleanor!" Luciano calls out. One of my many older cousins.

Grandpa and grandma live with Tio Emiliano and Tia Bianca. Hence their kids too.

"Coming!" I call out, already climbing down the grand staircase.

When I reach the living room where I hear sounds from I note them all standing and talking with a man. A very very handsome man.

"Eleanor." Grandpa greets with a smile. He turns back to the guy. "That is who you are protecting. Her life matters more than your own. Her comfort matters more than your convenience. Do you hear me?"

The man simply nods, not bothering to comment on my grandpa's harsh tone.

"Good." He turns back to me, replacing his scowl with a smile. "Eleanor this is Dimitri Romanov." My future husband. "He will be your personal bodyguard guard" he will be the love of my life. "And protect you whenever needed." Make me blush whenever needed "he'll also follow wherever you go as soon as you step foot outside of the estate." The love of my life will follow me like a dog on a leash.

"R-right." I stuttered. Why am I stuttering? Because of the love of my life who has heterochromia will be the death of me. "So uhm, what do I call him?" Husband-

"Whatever fits for you." Grandpa replies instead.

"What do you want me to call you?" I direct my question to the love of my life, desperate to hear his voice.

"Whatever you desire as long as it isn't said with a disrespectful intention." He answers in a deep voice. Deep enough to reach my core- and oh my lord the man has an accent. He has a Russian accent. Help me god before I pounce on the man.

"So I may call you....buttercup?" I tease, trying to get a smile out of him. I bet his smile is dazzling. With his type of face and his type of... everything it has to be.

"Is it meant in a disrespectful manner?" Dimitri asks, his eyes looking bored with the conversation even as they gaze into mine.

"N-no."

"I suppose so." He answers, his voice clipped and strict with formality.

"How old is he?" I ask grandpa.

"He's 25 turning 26 in a few months." Zio Emiliano answers.

"Aren't you a bit young to be a bodyguard? Shouldn't you be out partying or something?"

"If you are worried for my capability to keep you safe, there is no reason to do so. I have practiced and mastered 6 different martial arts including taekwondo, Jiu Jitsu, karate, Krav Maga, Kung fu, and Judo. You are in perfectly capable hands Ms. De Costa."

"Actually, if you don't mind, please refer to me as Eleanor or if you prefer to be oh so formal, Ms. Blanchet."

I feel the awkwardness stiffen in the room. His eyes shine in suspicion, or confusion before he nods. "As you wish Ms. Blanchet."

Grandpa sighs. "You are dismissed, you will be made aware if ever Eleanor leaves the estate."

Dimitri gives a curt nod. "Yes, Sir." He leaves the room with my gaze stuck on his back, his very very hot back might I add.

"You are off limits." Alonzo speaks strictly.

I snap my head back at him. "What do you mean?"
