The two of them breathed heavily as they finally landed on the cold stone ledge where the air smelled of salt and the waves beat into the stone walls, the ocean water spraying at them as if it were trying to reach the sky.
Iceberg gazed at the sky and groaned when he saw the skywing patrol diving towards them. How could they ever fight them? They were strongly outnumbered.

Just then, a flash of burnt scales and agonized roars pulsated in Icebergs mind. He could see that guard from earlier, screeching as the chest plate melted into his ribs. He shook his head, snapping back to reality. What was that?

"Ice, what do we do?" He heard Hover ask, looking over at his worried face. He won't let anything hurt him ever again.

The Icewing opened his mouth and breathed frost breath at the stone floor. The icicles glittered in the sunlight, sharp as the claws of an Icewing as Iceberg grabbed the biggest one and took it with one powerful snap meanwhile the skywings landed with powerful thuds. He looked up at their commander, a freezing glare in his eyes when he tightened his grip on the long and sharp icicle that he held in his talon.

"I enchant this icicle to turn into a sharp diamond spear and shoot through the heart of anyone I say." He said, still looking into the skywings eyes as the icicle in his claws shifted it's shape into a glittery spear. He saw the general realize what he is, fear covering her expression as she took a few slow steps back. The others seemed even more terrified, almost dropping their weapons and fleeing.

"Iceberg what are you doing?" Hover turned to him, his face full of horror. Of course he thinks Iceberg will go mad if he kills someone with his magic. But he knows that's not true. He gave Hover a glare, his cyan eyes looked as if they were glowing.

"I will never let anyone hurt you again. I don't care if it takes my soul, I will kill if I have to." The prince growled shifting his glare back to the female skywing. If this dragon moves just a bit, her heart will be stabbed with his rage. Suddenly, the commander took a step forward. Iceberg hissed, fury blinding him completely as he squeezed the diamond spear in his fist.

"Get BACK!" He barked, making the spear float next to him and getting on all fours as he flashed his teeth at the Skywings. Just in time to save the generals life, he felt a warm talon on his shoulder.

"Ice, stop!" Hover bellowed, the spear stopping right before the huge skywings chest. Iceberg turned to him with a frown waiting for an explanation. Why was he holding him back? Doesn't he want to escape them?

"She's... my Mother."

Hello, writer here! •

I gained motivation to write today, so I hope you enjoy this action episode!
Even so, this does not mean I will return back to my previous update schedule. All I can say is that you might get new episodes and that the novel is not dead yet.

I hope you understand,
