"Alexia, can I get in?" Talia knocked on Alexia's bedroom door.

"It's okay. The door's open." From beyond the wall, Alexia's muffled voice gave her allowance.

After a push down to the door handle, Talia awkwardly opened the door. "Hello there. How are you?"

"Fine I guess. How about you?" Opposing her words, her worn out tone practically screamed otherwise. Alexia sat on the bed; her feet touching the floor.

"Well, I feel okay. Had a good night sleep," Talia said as she closed the door. A slight smile formed on Talia's mouth. Although the scene's clarity had started to fade, she could remember the exact last words her future self uttered.

"Must have felt nice, huh," Alexia sarcastically remarked.

Flustered, Talia averted eye contact.

The excruciating quiet lasted for what felt like forever. Feeling it won't be good to delay any longer, Talia abruptly changed the conversation and jumped to the point she wanted to talk about. "Look, about yesterday..."

"Why don't you first sit."

After taking a move closer, Talia sat on the bed. Right as Talia opened her mouth to speak-

"How..."

"What?" Talia raised her head, surprised. "How what?"

"...You're- Nevermind." Alexia shook her head and it drooped down even further.

Now suspicious and worried, Talia questioned Alexia on the thing she finds most important-especially after the future she saw. "You're not backing out, right?" said Talia; her words a light threat.

"...No, I'm not..."

Dumbfounded because of Alexia's murmur, Talia took a peek at her and found a horrified expression plastered on Alexia's face. "Hey, tell me what's wrong?" Talia asked nervously.

"..."

At Alexia's uncooperative silence, Talia had the urge to punch her, but-

"Just please, treat her well"

The moment Julius' words crossed her mind, Talia held them back and went for another method to extract the answer.

Talia grabbed Alexia's shoulder, trying to comfort her the best she could.

"Talia?" Alexia turned and looked at Talia.

"You said that I'm the closest person you have to a family, that you only lived because of me, that I should live for you. So please, tell me what's going on."

"I- Don't worry, I'm okay now-"

"No, sit down." Before Alexia could run from her confrontation, Talia grabbed her arm and pulled her back down. "You wouldn't be like this just because of what I said, so what did you do last night?"

"That's..." Alexia trembled as she sat back down on the bed.

With a thought of the key spell , Alexia closed the front gate of Julius' home. In the silent darkness, she stood unmoving, staring at the home containing her best friend and the one who hurt her.

"Alexia!" Talia's shouts came out muffled from the house, but still very loud. Her presence moving all about, probably searching for Alexia.

Finally, Alexia walked away from the house, aimlessly wandering around Lipest without a goal. As Alexia reminisced the day everything changed, she continued to walk.
