By the time Kuguri made it back to the gym, the final practice match was getting to its close. Though, he hadn't noticed. All he could focus on was the feeling that all the eyes were on him as he made his way through the door. He was already embarrassed from the entire thing. He wished everyone could have just forgotten about it by the time he made it back. He tried not to meet the gaze of the Nekoma team but couldn't help but feel some angry stares. He made his way over to the bench and put his head down to try to blend in to the background. Though after what happened it didn't seem like he could.

"Seems like you really had it for the shorty, Naoyasu!" He heard a sly voice from behind him as a hand found its way to his shoulder. "Can't believe you went straight for the face though."
He looked up to see Daishous shadow at his feet. Of course his captain was teasing him at a time like this.

"You know I didn't do it on purpose Suguru. Cut it out. This is the last thing I need right now." If Kuguri hadn't been annoyed by his captain before he sure was now. He hoped what he said to Daishou had been true. He knew he may have came off as cold but had he given off a the feeling that he would do something that malicious?

"I may know it was an accident. But the other team might not know you as well as I do. They haven't learned that your cold exterior is not what it seems."

This statement had confused Kuguri. What did he mean by that. He wasn't hiding anything to his knowledge. But before he could continue that thought he had caught the eyes of a silver haired giant. Before the silver haired boy could say anything he had been distracted when the captain had called his name.

"Lev! Pay attention!" The captain said. Causing the giant to get to the ball in time to block it. Ending the final roumd. Nekoma again won at 2-1.

Where have I heard that name before.. Kuguri had thought before heading back to the bus to Nekoma.
