And God Wept
When the paradise he created
Turned into fire and dust
By men, who translated his teachings
And twist them to suit their fashion
Imposing upon others
Their ignorant and arrogant authority
Trampling every living being God created
All because they did not bow down
To the translation of these men
And so God wept bitterly
For his name is tarnished
His teachings corrupted
His creation disturbed
By the shameless arrogance of men
