Loren noticed Risa looking down. "Risa, dzai may daga ba d’yan sa ilalim mo?" Loren asked. Agad naman napatingin balik si Risa sa kanya. "Nako, wala. Ano nga ulit pinag-uusapan natin?" Tanong niya kay Loren.
"Dzai bakit mo raw nirestrict si Jinggoy. ’Di mo raw pinapansin chats niya since last week." Loren said to Risa. Risa giggled in annoyance. "Bahala siya d’yan. Kahit manigas pa ’yang mga tuhod niya, hindi ko na siya iaalis sa restricted account." Sagot naman niya kay Loren. "Bakit naman?" Dagdag ni Loren.
"Basta." Sagot sa kanya ni Risa. "Oh siya siya, aalis na ako. Susunduin ko pa mga anak ko." Pagpapaalam ni Loren. Risa just waved Loren good bye and immediately checked up on Alice down the desk. The mayor was in a tuck seating position. "I'm so sorry, Alice." Paghingi ng pasensya ni Risa sa kanya dahil sa biglaang pagtulak niya. "Okay lang ho." Sagot ni Alice.
She lend a hand to the Mayor. Alice immediately grasped at Risa's hand lifting her upward. Alice slowly leaned forward so that her back wont hit the desk causing for the both of their face to meet. They were so close. Only an inch was left. Risa saw that the mayor was still struggling so she promptly grabbed the Mayor's waist and pulled it forward.
Now, it was Senator Risa who's looking up to Mayor Alice.
They were both settled and the Mayor went back to her seat. Risa frozed and thought of how the Mayor had gripped to her thigh and how she quickly grabbed her waist. That was instant. It wasn't planned. Silence filled in and it was too loud that both of them could glance at each other.
Risa has her heart beating so fast meanwhile Alice started breathing heavily. It must be the nervousness visiting both of them. What are they even nervous about?
"S-saan na nga po pala tayo?" Pagsingit na lang ni Alice sa biglaang katahimikan. Risa cleared her throat before responding to Alice. "U-um—well, We will be visiting these places as I said. Masyadong malayo ang ibang lugar na nakalagay dito so we have to travel using our visa." Sagot ni Risa. "I know meron kang visa." Dagdag niya pa.
"Ay opo, opo meron po." Sagot naman ni Alice. She then grabbed her little notepad and jotted down every detail the Senator told her.
"I know this will be too fast pero we will start tomorrow. I want your visa to be ready, along with your things such as clothes and personal stuff." Risa added.
"Saan po tayo una?" Tanong ni Alice. "Baranggay Olympog, General Santos City. Risa replied. "Nako po Madam Risa, Ang layo po pala?" Alice uttered.
"Yes yes, That's why our flight will be early. I got it booked today before leaving the house." Risa spoke. Alice was amazed. The Senator is really inclined. Alice admired Risa for how she manages things so well.
"Well then, it's 12pm. Let's eat the lunch that we bought so that mahatid na rin kita and you can be ready." Risa said. "Sige po." Alice agreed.
∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆∆
After eating their lunch, they did the same thing earlier. Dumaan sila sa likuran ng office. As usual, hawak pa rin ni Risa ang mga kamay ni Alice so that hindi maiwan si Alice sa paglalakad. Kailangan rin kasi nilang bilisan upang hindi mahata ng kahit na sinong nag-tatrabaho roon.
They immediately went to Risa's car and drove off. Pagkahatid na pagkahatid ni Risa, pumarke muna siya saglit sa harap ng bahay ni Alice at nag-iwan ng dagdag na bilin.
