Cubah returns from London to Kingston in the summer of 1988. She meets an ancestor who takes her on a spiritual journey back to Ghana in 1690. The story is written in three main parts which focuses on a journey from Ghana to Jamaica and from Jamaica to the House of Commons, in Westminster, London. She experiences the loves, wars, treaties and many a controversy between the maroons and planters on the island at the time. The story is a meandering tale set in her home town. Cubah meets the overseer and we see her empathise with him as he struggles with his life on the Vineyard. It is a story that celebrates the island of Jamaica in its 50th Anniversary and as well as all the recent olympic successes of Usain Bolt, it is a reminder of great Jamaicans and humble beginnings like Bob Marley and others. If these people interest you and you want to find out what makes them the successes they are and were, then delve into this story and by the end you will discover what makes the island so special. The year is 2448. The New Washington Republic has been at war in Manona and Liberteria for 8 years now. Meanwhile another, much smaller, conflict is brewing in the Galaxy of Cara 3F6. The Republic of Volgoska has come across troubles colonizing one of the planets they were assigned to by the Parliament of the Democratic Union. The NWR, as the largest and strongest nation of the DU, has decided to aid Volgoska. During the Campaign, Second Lieutenant Kutikova and First Lieutenant Joseph meet during a manhunt. Throughout the years, they together, along several servicemen, agents and politicans, will qeustion the morality of war and will attempt to bring down the corrupt Military Industrial Complex.

The capitalist system must be overthrown because property is theft, labor produces all wealth, poverty is caused by the hoarding of wealth, it is inherently coercive and authoritarian, and brings out the worst in humanity. In its simplest terms, capitalism is when the means of production are primarily privately owned by wealthy business owners called capitalists. The term "means of production" simply means all that which is used to produce anything; e.g machines used for manufacturing, land, farming tools, technology, all forms of capital, etc. The primary alternative to capitalism is socialism, in which the workers collectively control the means of production. My intent with this essay is to clearly illustrate the flaws of capitalism and to prove that socialist revolution is urgently necessary.
