Cubah returns from London to Kingston in the summer of 1988. She meets an ancestor who takes her on a spiritual journey back to Ghana in 1690. The story is written in three main parts which focuses on a journey from Ghana to Jamaica and from Jamaica to the House of Commons, in Westminster, London. She experiences the loves, wars, treaties and many a controversy between the maroons and planters on the island at the time. The story is a meandering tale set in her home town. Cubah meets the overseer and we see her empathise with him as he struggles with his life on the Vineyard. It is a story that celebrates the island of Jamaica in its 50th Anniversary and as well as all the recent olympic successes of Usain Bolt, it is a reminder of great Jamaicans and humble beginnings like Bob Marley and others. If these people interest you and you want to find out what makes them the successes they are and were, then delve into this story and by the end you will discover what makes the island so special. The weight of the broken promises and the sense of being unwanted and unappreciated felt almost suffocating. She couldn't help but wonder how they were going to build her back up after tearing her down.

A poem collection with themes relating to terrorism, war, discrimination, politics and the international phenomena that have shaped or rather dented our world today. No stone will be unturned be it religion or identity, but I'll try to respect and condole every ones rights and views without specifically targeting any groups or societies or ideas. But forgive me if I hurt your feelings, then again... the either world is hurting. To promote this book I would love if my readers could share this with friends, enemies, frenemies who ever. The capitalist system must be overthrown because property is theft, labor produces all wealth, poverty is caused by the hoarding of wealth, it is inherently coercive and authoritarian, and brings out the worst in humanity. In its simplest terms, capitalism is when the means of production are primarily privately owned by wealthy business owners called capitalists. The term "means of production" simply means all that which is used to produce anything; e.g machines used for manufacturing, land, farming tools, technology, all forms of capital, etc. The primary alternative to capitalism is socialism, in which the workers collectively control the means of production. My intent with this essay is to clearly illustrate the flaws of capitalism and to prove that socialist revolution is urgently necessary.
