"Alice, I want to tell you something.." She spoke. Only the tension was filled in the cabin. Pinagpapawisan ang Senador kahit malamig ang panahon. The Chinita snuggled to the superior tightly as she felt more at ease with her.
"Ano po ’yon?" She mumbled while catching her breath and her body trembling. Risa couldn't find the words she wanted to say. Ayaw niyang matalo. Ano bang makukuha niya sa pag-aamin? It's not like they'll immediately date. Will they?
"You know.. A few days ago before going to the airport, I bought you something." Risa uttered. "And.. It's cheap so I thought you wouldn't like it.." She added.
She kept brushing Alice's tresses as she kept on talking. "I didn't know.. I didn't know you like stuffed toys or something.." Risa said. "Kaya pala madami kang suitcase sa service, mga stuffed toy pala ang laman.." She muttered.
Risa's POV:
Paano ba.. Alice?
Hindi ko alam..
Hindi ko kaya..
Huwag na nga lang.
...
Napanghihinaan ata ng loob si Risa. Hindi niya alam s’an mag-sisimula, o kung paano niya sasabihin. An awkward silence tied the two of them. Lumalakas lalo ang ulan, walang kasiguraduhan kung kailan ito matatapos o kung makakababa sila.
Contacting wasn't enough. It's pointless.
The Chinita looked up at Risa. She's looking at the woman who flattened her heart.
Alice's POV:
Umamin ka na dati, Madam Risa ko..
Ano pa bang pumipigil sa ’yo..
Kung ayaw mo, uunahan na kita.
...
Her cute mumbling voice was heard speaking. "Matagal na po kitang gusto, Madam Risa."
Risa's heart started pumping faster. She wasn't expecting her to say something like that. "M-me?Huh, Ka-kailan?" Risa stuttered making the Chinita chuckle. "Narinig po kitang umamin n’ong tulog po ako, bakit po wala kang masabi ngayon?" She replied.
Risa froze for a minute and thought of the reason why she can't say a word now that Alice was all ears to listen to. Risa took a deep breath and released a loud sigh.
"Well, I.. Like you." She uttered. Alice glanced at her with her dark brown orbs. She felt Risa's heart beating faster after what the Senator said.
