Part 16

After discussing with Manik the next day, Mukti called Nandini home when Jeff and her in-laws were out shopping and only Zubin was at home....

She told her whatever she discussed with Manik....

She told her to pretend so that Manik doesn't get to know that she has feelings for him in real....

Zubin was a bit shocked when he heard that Smaran's thoughts still haunt Nandini, but he was also happy with Mukti's idea of getting her treated for trauma from Manik....

He told Nandini not to lose this opportunity of understanding each other because she knows nothing about Manik apart from the fact that he would not behave as Smaran did....

Nandini was happy because she could get some time with Manik as she wanted to know him more....

Mukti explained to her that she has given Manik a time of 2 months until their anniversary, which is also the same for Nandini and after that if any of them would deny, then they both will get married to someone else....

Nandini had accepted this because she was sure that she wouldn't deny it but she wasn't sure about Manik's decision as she didn't know what he felt....

Nandini informed her that she is ready to do this, but she had only one request that she would start this from Monday as she had to attend one of her friend's functions in Goa....

Mukti also agreed because Manik was also not available in Mumbai during the weekend as he was going to attend Inaya's engagement....

3 Weeks Later,

Zubin visited Manik's clinic to know the progress of their ongoing mission...

Zubin asked, Kya Manik free hai???
Mujhe uss se kuch baat karni hai...

Rima replied, Yes sir...
Aap andar chale jaiye...

After Zubin entered Manik said, Hiii aa baith naa...
Aaj yahan kaise???
Nandini ke baare mein janane aaya hai???

Zubin after sitting said, Haan Nandini ke baare mein janane aaya hunn...

Manik said, Abb tak 5 sessions hue hainnn...
Zyada toh nahi but thoda bohot improvement hoo raha hai...
3 years se woh relationship mein thii so aise trauma mein hona koi nayi baat nahi hai...

Zubin said, Nandini ki treatment ke baare mein nahi balki usko leke tere thoughts ko janane aaya hunn...
Mukti ne tum dono ko ek dusre ko janane aur samajhne ko kaha hai naa...
So uska kya status hai...
Baat kahan tak pahunchi???

Manik said, Woh bhi chal raha hai...
Main yeh nahi keh raha kii woh aachi nahi hai...
Woh bohot aachi hai...
Jab uss see uske aur Smaran ke relation ke baare mein sunnta hunn toh dukh hota hai, uske liye bura lagta hai...

Zubin reacted, Toh kya main yeh samjhu ki Tu uske liye kuch feel karne laga hai???

Manik said, Kya Tu bhi Mukti ke jaise shuru hogaya...
Bhai humanity bhi toh kuch hota hai naa...
Yaar main kya koi bhi aisa kuch sunega toh usse Nandini ke liye bura hii lagega...

Zubin asked, Aacha yeh bata kya tune usse Alya aur apne past ke baare mein bataya???
Mukti ko jab pata chala ki main tujhse milne aa raha hunn toh usne specially kaha kii tujhe yeh puch lunn...

Manik replied, Nahi abhi nahi bataya...
Main abhi bhi uske saath itna open nahi hua hunn ki uske saath apna past share kar sakun...

Zubin said, It's ok but zyada time maat lagana...
Jitna jaldi hoo sake utna jaldi batana...
Kahin woh kuch soch lee aur phir sach janane ke baad usse dukh naa hoo...
Tu jaanta hai naa ki woh meri behen jaisi hai...
Main usse dukhi nahi dekh sakta...
