Riiiiiiiiing! -the alarm sounded as always at 06:15 in the morning. Today everything had to go perfectly since... Yes, it was my birthday. Today was the day I turned 20 years old. A day in which I had not planned to celebrate with anyone since I was used to receiving congratulations from my parents and nothing else.
I got ready like the previous morning and got ready to take the bus. Upon arriving at the high school at 8:00, I got off the bus and stayed outside for a moment listening to music until the bell rang at 8:15. I entered class and sat in my seat. Next, Skell and Nia came and sat next to me. For a moment, they both stared at me and Nia touched my shoulder.
- Nia: Happy birthday! -she exclaimed. I suddenly became very blushing.
- Skell: Happy birthday Alex man -he smiled looking at me.
- Alex: Thanks guys! -I nodded with a smile from ear to ear but I was still very blushing. That was something I wasn't used to, good touch- I hope the first hour is worth it and I don't start the day off bitter -I laughed.
- Skell: Well... -he looked at his agenda- we have science class -he whispered.
- Alex: Damn! -I exclaimed- the only thing missing is that the asshole Oliver hasn't come.
It couldn't all be perfect, because Oliver walked through the door. The best? That today he was alone. He went to his place and sat down. He looked at us with disgust and started taking things out of him. Half an hour passed since the bell rang and Miss Bloomie still hadn't arrived.
- Skell: That's strange... Miss Bloomie isn't usually late... And Abbie isn't here either -he said strangely.
- Alex: Uhm... I'll be right back. -I got up from the chair and headed to the hallway.
I looked everywhere, until suddenly, I heard screams in the boys bathrooms. Some screams of terror, desperate and full of pain. Suddenly, I approached the bathroom and could see what I had never imagined... Miss Circle, Miss Bloomie and Miss Thavel were there, with their three weapons in their hands, the compass, the saw and the claws. Abbie was totally bloody. Full of cuts everywhere.
- Miss Circle: I hope this lesson has been useful to you this year, Abbie. WE DON'T WANT ANOTHER FAIL! Got it, you fucking rat? -she shouted.
- Abbie: Yes, I understood it! -he also shouted full of pain and crying -but leave me alone!
- Miss Bloomie: Oh, what's wrong Abbie? Can't you stand a little suffering? -she approached him and passed her saw across Abbie's neck -you're pathetic... -she leaned back- well, I'm leaving, I have to teach class.
When I saw Miss Bloomie turn around, before she left the bathroom, I ran to the classroom again and sat down in my seat, quite agitated. Skell and Nia looked at me worried.
- Skell: Are you okay? -he asked.
- Alex: Yes... I'm fine... -I said worried.
Before continuing the conversation, Miss Bloomie entered the classroom and left her things on the table.
- Miss Bloomie: Good morning class! Sorry for the delay, I was in a meeting. -she said out loud. Noticing Abbie's absence, Skell asked.
- Skell: Miss Bloomie, where is Abbie?
- Miss Bloomie: Oh yes... Abbie won't be with us today, Miss Grace warned us that he would be unwell today. -she said convinced
I looked at Miss Bloomie skeptically, obviously Abbie won't be with us... The three teachers had destroyed him...
- Miss Bloomie: Well, let's start class! -she exclaimed.
I still couldn't believe what had happened, because I had never seen anything like that. I couldn't stop thinking about what I saw. Then at that moment, noticing my oversight, Miss Bloomie approached.
- Miss Bloomie: Alex, are you okay? You seem subdued -she asked me. She was quite calm at that moment.
- Alex: Oh, yes Miss Bloomie I'm sorry, I were in my world. -I said trying to forget what happened.
- Miss Bloomie: You know that if you need anything, we are here to help, right? -she asked.
- Alex: Yes Miss Bloomie... -I whispered while looking at her big saw behind her.
- Miss Bloomie: Let's continue then! -she turned around and directed her attention to the blackboard.
