As Miss Bloomie explained today's lesson, which I remember was about organic compounds, I couldn't help but think about what happened. I was quite absent but I tried to hide it. At that moment, Nia looked at me worried.
- Nia: Alex, are you okay? -she asked.
- Alex: Uh? Yes... Today I feel a little strange but nothing important.
- Nia: You know that if something happens, you can tell me. -she whispered with a smile. I simply nodded.
Suddenly, an idea occurred to me. I raised my hand.
- Miss Bloomie: Yes, Alex? -she asked.
- Alex: Miss Bloomie, could I go to the bathroom for a moment? -I said with a worried tone.
- Miss Bloomie: NO! -she shouted- uhm... Sorry... No, it's not possible now... -she lowered the volume- you'll have to wait until class ends.
Two words... "A shit." As soon as Miss Bloomie turned around, I sneaked out the door. As I walked slowly down the hallway, a scream alerted me.
- Miss Bloomie: ALEX!
I sensed that Miss Bloomie realized I wasn't there, so I hid. I saw Miss Bloomie leave the classroom quickly and she headed to the teachers room which was not far away. I approached the room slowly and began to listen.
- Miss Bloomie: Hey! One of the students has escaped from the classroom -she said worriedly.
- Miss Thavel: So what? I'm sure he won't be far away.
- Miss Bloomie: Thavel, sometimes I think you're an asshole -she said alertly- What if he found out what we did?
- Miss Thavel: I doubt it... We made sure there was no one there... -she thought.
- Miss Bloomie: Circle, aren't you going to say anything? -she asked. Meanwhile, Miss Circle was in her reclining chair eating some Oreo cookies. Suddenly, Miss Bloomie took them off- listen to me when I talk to you, damn it!
- Miss Circle: Give that back to me right now, stupid! -a slap was heard. Miss Bloomie yelled- May this be the last time you do that. Besides, what the hell does it matter if this Alex finds out what happened? Abbie is our punching bag, everyone knows it. -she continued eating the Oreo cookies.
Suddenly, a misstep of mine was heard from outside. The three teachers were suddenly alerted and Miss Circle went out to check the noise. I hid in a closet. I was very lucky... Or so I thought. At that moment, Miss Circle opened the door and gave me a murderous look.
- Miss Circle: Well well, look who we have here. -she whispered. Next, Miss Bloomie and Miss Thavel came out next to her- May I know what you are doing here?
- Alex: I... -I trembled.
- Miss Circle: I think it's time we had a few words... -she whispered again. Suddenly, the three teachers grabbed me and put me in the teacher's room.
