Intro: The Dark Lands

"How long until we strike?" a spiny turtle asked, "I've been waiting for years!" it yelled, slamming his hands on the table, smoke pouring out of its mouth. "落ち着け、クッパ。彼らが予想していない夜に我々は攻撃するつもりだ。" a grey-haired man spoke to the turtle before turning to the rest of the villains at the table, who collectively laughed with each other.

Luigi groaned as he opened his eyes, "W-where am I!?!" he shouted when he tried to lift his arms. He was tied down to something when a set of hands grabbed him. The man screamed as he was lifted to the unknown person's shoulders. The unknown person ran out of the building they were in into the ruins of a house.

Luigi opened his eyes, "W-who are you?" the man asked. A little dog-like creature walked up to him, "Hi! I'm Isabelle. That's Simon and that's my friend, Doom Slayer." Isabelle spoke, walking Luigi to the figures talked about. Simon raised his hand when his name was spoken, but Doom Slayer did nothing.

Luigi shrunk into himself at the Slayer's intimidation when Isabelle started again. "And you?" she asked getting Luigi's attention again, "Luigi. Do any of you know where my brother is?" he asked. "Does he have a red hat?" Simon asked as the Slayer lifted his head to the plumber.

"Yeah! And a great mustache, red shirt, bit overweight, shorter than me-" Luigi continued before being interrupted by Doom Slayer, who had removed his helmet. "Gone."

"W-wha?"

"He's gone. Captured, like the rest of us." Simon said finishing Doom Slayer's thought. "We don't know where he is or who captured him. But, the villains are working together and have taken over the 11 zones of the new world, he's gotta be in one of them, maybe he's in this one." "Where are we?" Luigi asked, most of his fear gone knowing the danger his brother may be in. "The Dark Lands." Simon answered, thunder booming behind him as a storm started.
