The Dark Lands: Part 1

The group started walking out of the village, Luigi walked as if he was going to punch someone in the face. They walked into an area filled with 2D platforms and buildings. Suddenly, purple dots started to form around them.

"Oh no." Luigi said, all of his worry returning to him. "What is it, Luigi?" Isabelle asked, worry filling her as well. "Primids!" Luigi yelled as the dots formed into the bodies of the Subspace footsoldiers.

They were surrounded by thousands upon thousands of Primids. Doom Slayer made the first move by grabbing one and stabbing it in the face with his wrist knife. The Primid dissipated into nothingness causing the rest to start attacking.

Everyone started to fight the Primids, Simon threw holy water and whipped a few to smithereens, and Doom Slayer threw Isabelle a pistol before throwing his saw shield at the enemies, slicing them in half.

Luigi watched as the little dog shot through Primid after Primid, laughing maniacally, before one almost attacked him. He pulled out his Polturgust 3000 and sucked the Primid onto the nozzle before flipping a switch and shooting it at more Primids approaching him.

The group continued to fight off the Primids until they were gone. They sat down to catch their breath when they heard screams coming from further into the Flat Zone. They ran until they saw more Primids surrounding a cage.

"Hey! Get away from there!" Luigi yelled, his confidence returning at the possibility of his brother in danger. The Primids turned and ran at the group and the group ran towards them.

The two forces fought and fought until eventually the Primids fell to the caged one's saviors. "P-please, get me out!" the voice exclaimed as the Doom Slayer walked over and started sawing at the bars. When enough came off, the little black mage stumbled out and into Luigi's arms.

"S-sorry, truly s-sorry." the creature said before wiping itself clean. "Who are you?" Isabelle asked after handing Doom Slayer his pistol. "V-Vivi. Vivi Ornitier." the mage stumbled out.

"Well Vivi, I'm Isabelle. That's Simon, Luigi, and Doom Slayer." Isabelle continued as Doom Slayer seemed to inspect Vivi. Vivi started to shake before Doom Slayer gave a thumbs-up to Isabelle.

The group started to walk away before Simon turned to Vivi. "Well, you coming or what?" he asked before Vivi ran over. "T-thank you. Tru-truly, thank y-you." Vivi said, almost tripping over themself multiple times.
