People have secrets
That is well known
Hard to keep it
The mystery you own
Whispered into ears
Those secrets are told
No one must hear
The secrets of gold
Better keep silent
Once you know one
A betrayal that giant
Can't be undone
Keep your lips locked
Tight with super glue
You just may be shocked
Of what people can do
To get to the top
Secrets are what they hold
Not wanting to stop
Hearts are ice cold
Wearing a false halo
Their trust is a lie
Their eyes a volcano
So you must comply
You let it out
Feeling relieved
Not one doubt
Foolishly deceived
People have secrets
That is well known
Having no regrets
