Ch.2: Concert Time

Issei POV

It's time for the concert. Ever since I got the message that I had won the premium pass, I hadn't run into either Akali or Seraphine.

I did find it weird at first, considering we're staying at the same hotel. But, I chalked it up to them being busy preparing for the concert.

It's a shame I didn't ask for either of their phone numbers, but oh well.

I arrived at the stadium, and holy hell, it's packed! Then again, I should've expected this. They did sell out a freakin' stadium for crying out loud.

When I showed the QR code for my pass, a large, muscular man, wearing a suit and bowler hat, came up to me. He also had a very impressive mustache.

Braume: Excuse me, sir. My name is Braume, and I'll be escorting you to your booth.

I get a booth? Nice. Guess this premium pass comes with more benefits than I thought.

Issei: Thank you, sir. Lead the way.

Braume motions for me to follow him, and we went into a less populated area of the stadium.

I honestly feel kinda out of place. All the people that we did pass were dressed up in really expensive looking clothes, and here I am wearing just a red long sleeve and jeans.

Ehh, who cares. If I wanted, I could buy some flashy clothing and blend in with these rich folk. But, I don't want to.

Braume brought me to a booth that had a perfect view of the stage. It was above the MASSIVE crowd of cheering fans. About 15 minutes after I was brought to the booth, all the lights in the stadium turned off, and a giant screen above the stage started to play some sort of intro video.

Once the video was done, music started playing.

Once the song was over, the crowd erupted in cheers.

I was never one to listen to pop music back in my old world. I was more of a rock and heavy metal kinda guy. But these girls are really good. Akali's rapping was really cool, with it being a mixture of both English and I think Korean.

The woman that came to pick up Seraphine and Akali the other day, I believe her name is Evelynn. She, along with the fox Vastaya named Ahri, had to be the lead vocalists.

Then there's the girl with those cannons above her shoulders. I believe her name is Kai'sa. She must be the main dance choreographer of the group. The reason I figured this is because whenever the group was dancing, which was amazing by the way, I could see that she had more passion in her movements than the other girls.

The girls then addressed the crowd and thanked everyone for attending. Afterwards they started up another song. Apparently, this was the first song they created when they first became a group. Their debut song, if you will.

Timeskip

After a concert that lasted about 3 hours, they were finished. So this is what's considered good music in the pop scene. Hmmm. I wonder what the rock scene looks like.
