the one I never get.

In the shadows of silence, my heart does ache,
For the guy I love, but won't my feelings take,
His words like whispers, distant and cold,
Leaving my heart in a story untold.

I long to speak, to share my heart's song,
But he remains distant, where I don't belong,
Yet in the depths of my love so true,
I'll wait and hope for a brighter hue.

Though his silence echoes loud and clear,
My love for him will persevere,
In the quiet moments, my feelings grow,
Hoping one day, he'll let them show.
