The Weekend

Envy's POV

"Mommy!!" Both Emani and Alyssa yell at me waking me up from my peaceful slumber.

I open my eyes and both girls are right in my face. Not a surprise though. They slept in my bed last night.

"Mommy can we go see uncle Alec today?" Alyssa asks me with a smile.

"Yeah mommy we want to go swim." Emani says also smiling

It's cute because they both have one missing bottom tooth.

"Oh really?" I say and sit up in bed.

"Yes." They both say at the same time.

"Okay, call him and ask first. If he says yes before you can go I need baths taken, teeth brushed, and rooms cleaned." I say to them and they both nod enthusiastically.

"Here." I say and hand them my phone.

It's already 10:30. Usually they wake me up at 8 on the weekends but the schedule is a bit different because they just started school.

"Uncle Alec can we come and swim?" Emani asks Alec in a sweet tone.

"Absolutely, we can go and get ice cream afterwards." He says with a laugh.

"Can we bring pup and kitty?" Alyssa asks him in a hopeful tone.

"Yea but they can't go get ice cream with us okay. Also today you guys are gonna meet my brother today." He says to them.

Not happening

"Is he nice?" Emani asks curiously

"He is, now let me talk to your mommy." He says with a laugh.

"Go get ready for showers." I say to them both. They nod and run out of my room.

"I had to pay your baby daddy not to kill Elias." He says to me.

"Sounds about right." I say with a laugh and stand up stretching.

"I gotta clear out the house so just call me before y'all come over." He says to me.

"It'll be an hour at least cause we all have to get ready and I have to get them food." I say to him.

"Whatever you get bring me some too." He says.

"It'll be McDonalds probably." I say to him and slip some crocs on.

"Chicken nuggets and fries." He says and then hangs up.

Rude.

I have to make one more call but I have to make sure they actually get in the shower.

I walk to Alyssa's room first and of course hers is already clean. She never sleeps in there. She'll sleep in my bed or in bed with Emani.

"Mommy can we talk." She asks sitting on her bed with a towel on and she looks upset.

"Yeah let me help Emani right quick." I say to her and then walk across the hall to Emani's room which is definitely a mess but it's both girls faults so they are both going to clean it up.
