Part 2

I get my girls in the car and they are now just sad and silent.

I pull out my phone and call Armani.

"I thought you weren't talking to me." He says angrily while answering the phone.

"Are you home?" I ask him

"What's wrong? Why do you sound like you've been crying?" He asks me now sounding concerned.

"Just tell me." I say to him.

"Yes, Anex and Gionni are here too." He says to me.

"Okay I'm coming over." I say and hang up.

"Was that daddy?" Mani asks me in a low tone.

"Yes." I say to her.

She doesn't say anything else.

We get to Armani's house.

"Mommy." Alyssa says lowly.

"Yes baby." I say to her.

"Were we bad?" She asks me and that's the trigger.

"G-go get daddy Mani." I say trying to hold it in.

They both get out of the car and run all the way up to Armani's car and I finally let it out. I cry. I cry hard. I let everything out.

I hear my door open.

"Envy, what's wrong?" Armani asks me softly.

"I-I." I start but I can't get the words out.

"Get in the back seat." He says sternly while getting out of my car.

I get out of the front seat and get in the back with him.

He immediately pulls me to his chest.

"Just let it out." He says to me softly.

And I do. I cry into his chest for about 10 minutes straight.

"I took the girls out. They can't go back to that school." I say to him.

"What happened?" He asks me.

"I called the school. They specifically told me that the students couldn't wear costumes today. I went there and everyone was wearing them besides Mani and Lyssa. Lyssa's teacher never told me to get the class any candy. Mr. Addison did with Mani. So when I went in Lyssa's class I heard the teacher say that if the students didn't bring any candy they couldn't get any. All the students had brought candy except for Lyssa. Lyssa was crying because she couldn't have candy. Mani was in the bathroom crying because she was the only one in her classroom that didn't have on a costume. The purposely made my daughters feel uncomfortable and like outcasts. That breaks my heart. Lyssa asked me if they were bad and that cut me so deep. I know what it feels like to be treated bad for no reason and assume that it's just your fault and it hurts and I know my girls are hurt." I say to him into his chest.

"I don't care what you say. I'm going up there on Monday. How dare they treat them like that." He says angrily.

"I don't want any drama. I'm just gonna remove us from the situation." I say with a sigh.
