Izuku POV:

"Who knew I'd see my once top student here on a roof, confessing he is Dark Mist."

My eyes snapped towards the familiar voice as tears rolled down my cheeks, my body shuddering from pain. "Get away from the edge, let me help you, and then we can talk, okay Midoryia?" His voice was calm as blood dripped from my fingers. I had done it deep enough to do some damage, but I don't think I would lose blood fast enough for anything to happen soon.

Take his offer. Fix what you broke.

I nodded my head sheepishly as my legs collapsed out from under me, a sob retching out of my throat. He ran up to me and immediately tied his scarf tightly around my wrist in attempts to stop the bleeding. I didn't put up a fight as he carried me down from the roof, police cars and an ambulance surround the front entrance. The lights were bright as I shivered in Aizawa's arms, faintness slowly creeping its way over my body. I was laid into a stretcher, my limbs strapped down to keep me from moving. Aizawa climbed into the ambulance behind me before the doors slammed shut and we sped to the nearest hospital.

Tears continued to flow until I remembered what caused this crisis from the beginning, my eyes widening, jolting to sit up but getting caught on the strapped. I wheezed from getting winded and shook my head. "SHOTO!" I shouted. Aizawa looked at me in confusion as the paramedics held my shoulders down to keep me calm. "Warehouse! Abandoned! Dabi!" I shouted incoherently. The more I yell, the more dizzy I become. With that, the paramedics inject me with something. I sobbed until everything went slow and suddenly, I was out.

-

I woke up to a rhythmic beeping indicating my heart rate. I attempted to sit up until I realized I was still strapped down, causing a groan to escape from my lips. I looked around and saw Aizawa and Katsuki asleep on the visitor chairs. I looked at my wrapped up arm and sighed, everything catching back up to me. "Shoto..." I whispered. My lip quivered at the death I caused.

If I hadn't joined Dabi, Todoroki would never had gotten kidnapped and he'd be alive right now.

You can't go back, but you can make it better.

I hear a grumbled and look to see Aizawa stir before opening his eyes tiredly. "Midoryia, good to see you're awake."

"Shoto, we need to find Shoto!" I exclaimed. His eyes widened before a soft smile settled on his face. "He's okay. We found him. He claimed to escape from Dabi and was running around the city looking for you," he said warmly. I let out a sigh of relief and relaxed my head back onto the pillow. "Deku...? Deku!" I hear Kacchan wake up and immediately make his way to standing by my bed. "Bakugo," Aizawa's voice warned, causing him to step back a few steps. His face was contorted in frustration before it turned into a deep frown. "He won't hurt me..." he grumbled with a weak voice, something I've never seen come from Kacchan.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I deserve any punishment they give me.

"It's only temporary until we can get you into a rehabilitation class. As you know, Nezu has been recovering small time villains and rehabilitating them back into normal civilians, and although your crimes are much larger than theirs, the circumstances are different," Aizawa explained as he stood up. "How are you feeling?" He asked. My throat closed and I felt dread fill my chest.

"I'm a murderer..." I whispered, my voice cracked. "You did what you thought was the best way to survive," Kacchan corrected. "I killed people, no matter how you want to defend that, it's not right," I said as tears fell from my eyes. "That may be true, Midoryia, but you were manipulated into it. You were bribed, if my information is correct," Aizawa pitched in. I stayed silent as guilt overwhelmed my senses. "I'm so... so sorry," I cried out.
