Third Person POV:

The wind was crisp as it blew through the forest, a harmonic symphony of howls mixed with the rustling of the trees and the birds chirping in the distance. Clouds littered the sky, but none spoke of rain as they shaded the landscape. A traveler, one of ash blonde hair and a sparky intensity rested against a wide tree trunk, writing his progress of his quest in a small journal. He paused for a moment, but only for a moment, as he took in the environment around him. The beauty of the world he lived in.

He breathed it in, his tension relaxing as his serious expression softened. Nature spoke to him in ways a human never would. Never could. And he accepted the fact that he was better as a lone wolf.

He looked back down at his journal, rereading the words he had written with meticulous script.

Journal Entry 36: day 42

There is still no temple in sight, nothing but forest and trees. I ran across a small village yesterday, and there was a local library. I took some time to look through the scripts, in search of a clearer map but their language wasn't of my own. The symbols were basic, formed in swishes, dashes and dots. How they could read it, I'm unsure. It was unbearably quiet in the village though. Despite its population, there was no chatter, no laughter, no tears.

The more I think about it, the more I realize I've never seen this village in any of my maps. I've scribbled it into one of them, just for future research on a potential other quest. But it struck me as odd. It was in the middle of this forest, so I can understand it being missed, but how have they not gone out to explore elsewhere? How could they not have let us know of their existence? How were they able to sustain for themselves without aid and trade from other villages? They are isolated. Completely.

One thing I noticed about that village is that they did have a lot of statues of a dragon. The dragon looked the same, so I could tell it was just that singular beast. I think I'm getting close. Close to the temple, close to finding out where they're hiding. I refuse to go back to my village a failure. I will bring back proof, proof that I'm not insane. They're out there. I know they are.

Signed, Katsuki Bakugo

He let out a frustrated sigh as he shut the journal, tying it closed with a worn leather string. He stood up from the trunk, tucking the journal into his travel back before raising his arms above his head as he stretched. When his arms fell back to his sides, his eyes landed n the path he's been following. He narrowed his eyes, a dull red gazing into the green. That is... until he saw a weird shift. A warp. He looked at the trees that seemed to be seen through a lens.

Katsuki tilted his head as his brows furrowed in confusion. His legs moved on their own, stepping slowly towards the strange distortion, leaves and twigs snapping underneath his boots. His lips parted as he tried make it make sense. This was the real world, this was nature. There was no wizard in sight, no potions or spells being casted.

Soon enough, he came face to face with a scaled like texture. Still see through, but the fuzzy warping was more noticeable. And then the scales shifted, a heavy rustle and a low rumble filled Katsuki's ears, causing him to tense and jolt back.

"What the fu..." he started, but before he could finish his breathy words, the transparent thing started become less... clear. The scales blurred before him one by one, they shifted to a crimson iridescent red. Katsuki stumbled back, his firm eyes widening in a mix of fear and shock as a large beast appeared in front of him.

"A-... a dragon! You're a dragon!" He exclaimed with a gravely voice as his hand hovered over the handle of his dagger, which hung loosely in his belt. The mythical creature stood tall and proud as it stared down at Katsuki. It had a leather scaled skin with piercing bright red eyes. It had two sets of horns on its forehead and temples, the inner horns larger than the outer ones by about a foot. Its large claws dug into the ground as it turned its body towards him, curiosity in its gaze. Katsuki recognized the dragon.
