As the evening went on and the party continued, Fides began to feel sad. She was surrounded by friends who were happy with her achievements and spoke highly of her. But deep down, she felt a longing for something very personal.
While everyone congratulated her and offered exciting opportunities to model expensive gowns, jewelry, and cars, Fides couldn't ignore the one dream that remained unfulfilled. She had always imagined herself wearing a wedding dress and walking down the aisle with someone she loved. Will there be any chance she too will be able to wear an engagement and wedding ring she used to model? These dreams made her feel both sad and hopeful, wondering if it could ever become real.
Her friends noticed her change in mood. Shynn, Meera, Ashira, Venice, and Cielo were concerned and asked if something was bothering her.
Shynn: "Fides, you seem a bit off all of a sudden, is everything okay?"
Meera: "Yeah, you were so bubbly a while ago. What's on your mind?"
Fides: hesitates, then sighs "Well... I've been thinking about something personal."
Ashira: "You can talk to us, Fides. We're here for you... We're friends, right?"
Venice: "Is it about one of the offers tonight? You seemed a bit reserved when they were talking about the gowns and jewelry."
Cielo: "Or is it something else?"
Fides: take a deep breath "Actually, it's something I haven't talked about... It's about my dream of wearing a wedding dress and of course of engagement ring and wedding ring."
Shynn: "Oh, Fides..."
Meera: "Your dream wedding?"
Fides: "Yeah. I've always imagined that moment, walking down the aisle... I dont mind whether I'll wear the ugliestbgown and the cheapest engagement and wedding ring asl long as I am walking down the aisle with the man I love... But lately, I've been wondering if it'll ever happen for me."
Ashira: "What's holding you back?"
Fides: pauses, gathering her thoughts "It's... because of what happened with my first crush, my first love and maybe my eternal love..."
Venice: "The man you love?"
Fides: nods "I thought we had something special... we were friends, closest among friends.. but when I confess I got crush on him, he started to distance... he ignored me...Later, I got all the courage to tell him I love him, but he rejected me... It was really hard."
Cielo: "That must have been so tough, Fides but there must be reasons."
Fides: "Yeah...He don't love me, even like--- he don't like me... I was so hurt... I guess I've been carrying that hurt with me. And now, seeing all these opportunities tonight, it made me realize how much I've achieved professionally... but I still feel like I'm missing something."
Shynn: "Fides, you deserve to have everything you dream of."
Meera: "You're so kind and talented. You deserve happiness in every aspect of your life."
Fides: tears welling up "Thank you, guys. I just... I am trying hard to give up on that dream. But sometimes it feels like it's out of reach."
Ashira: "Fides, when the right time comes...The lord God will make it happen... True love will find a way."
Venice: "Yeah... If he is the one for you, no matter what happen, you will end up with each other."
Fides: "That wont happen...he told me frankly he can't love me... He has a crush, maybe in passing of days became his love,"
