At the lavish banquet in Xandra's Sanctuary following the wedding ceremony, the room was filled with warmth and joy as the guests settled down to listen to the much-anticipated speeches. The lights were dimmed just enough to cast a soft glow over the tables, and the clinking of glasses quieted as Marco and Xandra, followed by Raphael and Alyza, rose to address the newlyweds.

Marco, always the charming speaker, took the microphone first. His voice, thick with emotion but laced with his signature humor, immediately captured the attention of the room.

"Well, well, well... look at our boy, all grown up, finally! Marc Alexandrei, we fondly call Andrei or Drei, I remember the days when you were more interested in climbing trees than falling in love." Laughter filled the room. "But look at you now—married to the love of your life, and I couldn't be prouder. Fides, you've been a blessing to us, and I can't tell you how much happiness you've brought to our family." Marco's voice cracked slightly, and he paused, taking a breath to steady himself.

"But seriously, Andrei, Fides—what a journey it's been, huh? From watching you two bicker as kids to seeing you share this day with us... it's been incredible. And just so you know, this doesn't mean you're off the hook. You'll still be hearing from your mom and me about your life choices—and you bet we're still coming over for Sunday dinners!" The room erupted in light laughter, and Marco smiled as he wiped a tear from the corner of his eye. "Here's to both of you. May your love continue to grow and keep us all on our toes with your beautiful story."

Xandra, standing beside Marco, couldn't hide her tears as she took the mic. "I'm already crying, so forgive me, but this is just too special," she said, her voice soft but strong. "Fides, you've been a daughter to us long before today, and Andrei, we're so proud of the man you've become. I remember when you two first met—those were such simple family meet up, weren't they? Who would have thought you'd both grow into the beautiful souls you are now?"

Xandra paused, smiling at her son and new daughter-in-law. "Thank you for giving us this joy. You've brought so much love into our lives, and we'll always be here for you—through every challenge, every triumph, every moment. Just don't forget... your father's terrible jokes will follow you forever." The crowd laughed, breaking the emotional tension, and Xandra beamed, dabbing at her eyes.

Raphael then took the stage, his usual strong and steady demeanor slightly softened with emotion. "Where do I even begin?" he started, his eyes misting over as he glanced at Fides. "My little girl, Alyza Fides, has grown into this incredible woman, and today, watching you with Andrei, I couldn't be happier. I'll admit, there were times when I wasn't sure how this would all turn out—when you were running wild as kids, causing us all to worry—but look at you now. You're proof that love endures."

His voice broke for a second, but he quickly recovered. "Andrei, you've been like a son to us for so long that this day almost feels like it's just making everything official. I trust you with my daughter's heart, and I know you'll cherish it. Now, don't think this means you're off the hook either. We'll still be calling you two for family gatherings, and I expect you both to keep the same sense of humor that's kept us all laughing over the years."

Alyza stood next to Raphael, her face glowing with pride and love for the newlyweds. "What more can I say?" she began, her voice full of warmth. "Fides, darling, you've been the light of our lives. Andrei, you've always felt like family. Today, you've both made us the happiest parents. Just remember that no matter where life takes you, love will guide you through it all. And don't you worry—your Mama Xandra, my kumare, and I will  be the first to help you with all those little details, like how to handle a stubborn spouse," she added with a wink, causing a ripple of laughter in the room. "You'll be just fine as long as you stick together."
