One thing that almost every senior in high school looks forward to is a promposal.
Most kids with crappy boyfriends got a card with a yes/no box and a pen.
But when you're a dramatically sweet high school senior with a drama elective, all the years of melodramatic relationships gives one some pretty good ideas of an exceptional promposal.
And John Deacon had a pretty good idea.
And that plan was for Brian, because he had thought of something way better than what he had told Brian to do.

Brian's promposal
------------------------------
Brian was nervous as he laid the final rose petal down in the trail, he knew that his girlfriend would be arriving soon. He heard her approaching footsteps and he took a deep breath to calm himself. He stood there, waiting, the bouquet of roses in his hand.
Liz turned the corner and saw the trail of petals, a surprised smile forming on her face. Curious, she walked down the path following the rose petals.
Liz continued following the trail of petals, with Brian waiting anxiously at the end. She eventually reached him, and he looked at her with a nervous but excited expression.
Brian raised the bouquet of roses and Liz looked at them and smiled. The letters 'Prom?' had been spelled out across the bouquet with smaller roses. Brian smiled.
"Would you," He got down on one knee, holding the bouquet up at Liz. "Elizabeth Clare Taylor, take me, Brian Harold May, as your date to the prom?" He asked.
"Of course!" She said, lifting him off of his knee to kiss him.
"I love you so much." He said against her lips.
"I love you too." She answered.
Freddie and Deaky walked out from beneath the risers. Freddie was clapping, Deaky was recording them on Freddie's phone.
"Not again!" Brian laughed, holding Liz's hand.
"It totally happened again." Freddie said, walking backwards out of the gym, bumping into multiple things before finally getting out of the building.
Liz squealed and gave Brian another kiss.
Brian mouthed a "thanks for the idea" to Deaky as he left.

Deakys's promposal

It was a beautiful sunset and John was standing nervously in front of Ronnie's house. His heart was pounding in his chest as he held a small basket. Inside the basket was a cute little kitten.
He took one last deep breath for courage before walking up to her house. He knocked on the door and waited anxiously for it to open. A moment later, Ronnie opened the door with a curious look on her face.
"John? What are you doing here?" Veronica asked.
"Close your eyes." Deaky said, slowly putting the basket behind his back to cover the cat.
"Alright. My eyes are closed." She said with a smile.
He stepped closer, holding the basket hiding the little kitten inside. "Now hold out your hands" he told her.
Ronnie held out her hands as instructed, a curious smile on her face. John then gently placed the basket into her hands. "Okay, you can open your eyes now" he said, trying to conceal his excitement.
Veronica opened her eyes and looked into the basket. When she saw the kitten inside, her face immediately lit up with joy. She gasped in excitement and quickly took the little kitten out of the basket. "Oh my god!" she exclaimed. "It's so cute!"
"Its name is Prom, but feel free to change it after." He grinned and rocked on his heels in joy.
"Are-are you asking me to prom?" Veronica asked, petting the little orange kitten.
"Yes, I am. Will you?"
"How could I say no?" Ronnie threw her hands around John's neck, carefully enough to not spook the cat, and gave him a kiss.
"This was amazing. Thank you John."
"No problem, my love." John gave Ronnie a kiss on the cheek then fled to Brian's car where their friends were waiting.
"How was it?" Freddie asked.
"SO much better than Brian's." Deaky answered.

Hello my beauties! Here's a cute little time jump + chapter because I don't have the energy to write another full fledged chapter. I'm listening to Pink Pony Club by Chappell Roan.
Also this chapter was quite upbeat, and is a nice change from the last few chapters.
If someone asked me to prom with a kitten, I would say yes no matter who it was.
Also, do you guys like the a/n? Is it too much? If you want to state your opinion, just write it in the comments.
Do I ever forget the hyphen when I sign my name? I hope I've never forgotten it....
Love you!
Toodles!
