The room was in chaos. The once-pristine ballroom was now littered with shattered glass and twisted metal. Everyone had managed to leap out of the way just in time as the chandelier crashed to the ground where they had been standing moments before.

"Is everyone alright?" Brian shouted over the commotion, his eyes darting around to check on the others.

There were groans and curses flying from all directions, but thankfully, it looked like everyone had avoided major injury.

"We need to get out of here!" John shouted, picking himself and Ronnie up from the ground, inviting the rest to do the same.

Everyone nodded in agreement, scrambling to their feet amidst the chaos. Freddie winced in pain as he tried to stand, but eventually managed to straighten himself.

"He's right," Brian agreed, helping Liz up from the floor. "We should leave. Quickly."

The group stumbled towards the door, tripping over broken glass as they went. Brian, being the closest, was the first to throw open the door, only to find a group of people loitering in the hallway.

the stares were soon shrugged off, with the loiterers assuming they had broken a vase and were trying to flee the blame.

The group continued, quickly making their way down the halls, avoiding crowds of students as best they could.

As they rounded a corner, they found themselves in another hallway, this one less crowded than the rest of the venue.

"Do you think we're far enough from the ballroom?" Brian asked warily, his eyes darting up and down the hallway.

"Doesn't matter," Ronnie began. "We need to get the hell out of the venue."

"Where would we go?" Liz asked, catching her breath.

"Well, there's a little shack near the woods here-" John said, his cheeks turning a bit pink.

"And how would you... Oh. oh, no." Brian said, putting two and two together.

"Doesn't matter what we've done, we need to go!" Ronnie exclaimed, beginning to run again.

"Right, let's go." Brian grumbled, starting to run after Ronnie and the others.

Finally, they reached the exit, the cool night air contrasting with the warmth inside the venue. They stumbled out into the parking lot, breathing heavily and relieved to be out of the building.

"Woods?" Liz asked.

"Woods." Brian replied, making a motion for John to lead the way.

The forest was still eerily quiet, and the only source of light was the faint glow from the moon above. The group moved through the trees, carefully avoiding any branches or roots that could trip them up.

"This..is...really-..difficult- to.. do. in. heels." Liz said as she stepped over different roots and plants.

"Imagine what I'm feeling right now," Ronnie said, raising her eyebrows at Liz.

Her eyes widened in sympathy.

"Oh, God."

"Yup."

Brian and John exchanged curious glances, unsure of what the girls were talking about.

"What are you two whispering about?" Brian asked, a hint of frustration in his voice.

"Nothing," Ronnie said quickly, her cheeks tinged with pink.

Liz shot her a knowing smile before turning to the boys. "Don't worry about it," she reassured them. "Girl stuff."
