Nobody's POV:

It's been a few days since Ezra arrived at Newtopia, and during that time, she's gone with Anne and Marcy to the First, Second, and Third temple. They ended up coming across Sasha in the Third temple actually. Sasha's apology seemed so faked...

Anyways, Ezra, Marcy, and Anne were one Joe Sparrow, the Planters and Sasha staying at Newtopia for the time being, as Marcy was mumbling to herself whilst flipping through a book.

"Okay, according to this book, the Fourth Temple should be a bit more challenging than the others..." The noirette mumbles, as Ezra holds the supposed orange gem in the sky, a light guiding the group towards where the temple should be.

"More challenging? What can be more challenging than what we've gone through already?!-" Anne says with a confused expression, sitting up and staring at Marcy, who just shrugs. "I dunno! Nothing in the castles records say anything about the Fourth Temple!" The noirette responds, holding her head as she sets down the book.

Ezra sits up as well, placing a hand on Marcy's back and rubbing small circles on it. "Hey, hey, it's alright Marbles. We'll get through it either way, we managed the other temples, didn't we?" The blonde says with a small smile, as Marcy sighs. "I guess you're right...Thanks Ez." The noirette smiles back at Ezra, as Anne just sighs.

"Free me from the life of a third wheel..." Anne whispers to herself as she facepalms, before turning her attention ahead again, noticing the light leading down towards a cave in some sand. "Guys, look down there." Marcy and Ezra look down at the ground, and Marcy's quick to lead Jo Sparrow down to land.

Everyone quickly climbs off Jo Sparrow, the bird shaking its wings off before noticing something crawling along the ground and taking to following it. "We've made it girls! The Fourth Temple!" Marcy cheers, holding her fists in front of her while looking down at the door that leads into the sand.

"Judging by the other temples, this one seems...Sad. It really just looks like a hole in the ground." A certain blonde comments, raising an eyebrow and crouching beside the door, her green eyes flickering with confusion. "Tell me about it." Anne agrees, standing off to the side slightly.

Marcy just shrugs, before grabbing the handle of the door and attempting to pull it open, before huffing and letting go. "And the door is heavyy..." Ezra chuckles slightly, patting Marcy's head, before grabbing the handle. "Let me try -- I might be able to figure it out." The teenager said, before lifting the door open with a small grunt, letting the door fall open. She dusts off her hands, before turning to the others. "Boom."

Anne just whistles, while Marcy beams. "Ez, that was so cool!" The noirette cheers, grabbing Ezra's hands and jumping in place in excitement. The blonde just laughs softly, weaseling her hands from Marcy's. "It wasn't hard, you just need to lift with your legs and back." She shrugs, before glancing down into the room the trapdoor led to.

"Do we just jump in?" Anne asks with a raised eyebrow, looking down the hole as well, Marcy in the other side. "I guess?" Marcy says, before Ezra suddenly jumps in. "I call dibs!" She cheers while already halfway in the hole, before eventually disappearing from sight.

Anne and Marcy glance at each other with worried expressions, before Anne jumps in after, then Marcy follows.

Once they reach the ground, they both make contact with a couple piles of hay, Ezra already out of said hay and looking around while pulling pieces of hay from cracks in her armor. "Took y'all long enough." She comments when the notices the noirette and brunette climbing out of the hay, waving with her metal hand.
